Sherlock could hear his phone ringing in his pocket. He looked at it; confused for a second. Then his mind clicked in to place. Castiel.

Now, Sherlock had never really believed in God or the Devil, he had been brought up too but; his mind worked in science, not magic. But ever since meeting the now elusive Castiel, he believes more than he ever did. Sherlock sighed and answered the phone.

"Sherlock?" Castiel's voice was filled with pain, something had happened to his friend, "Are you there?"

"Castiel," He tired to sound formal, but this one man, one Angel could break down his walls, Sherlock's once clinical features screwed up into an almost unrecognizable emotion on his face, worry mixed with some anger that someone could hurt his... friend. "What happened? Tell me!" Anger bursts through by accident. He doesn't mean to be angry at Castiel it's just that the case isn't leading anywhere fast and he's worried.

"I made a mistake..." Castiel's voice was rough, just like always, but Sherlock was thinking more about the shapes that his lips were making as he spoke those words. "I helped out a friend and I ended up hurting my self in the progress... I'm in the hospital. I am told that I scared a few sailors." Sherlock tried to suppress the smile that wanted to break out on his lips.

"Well, what can I do for you?" Sherlock asks. "Unless you just wanted to tell me you were alright."

"No, I... uh..." Castiel paused searching for the right words. "The Apocalypse has started, and I just wanted to let you know that..." Another pause, Sherlock could almost see the blood rush to Castiel's cheeks. "I value you as a friend." Castiel's awkwardness was seconded to only his own, but on a bigger scale. "No, that doesn't feel right, those aren't the right words. What-?"

"It's alright, Castiel, I know..." Sherlock said, cutting him off with out thinking about it. "I know."
