No! No!
*Whoosh!* (A/N: The "Whoosh!" is a kunai being thrown at Naruto's heart.")
"N-Naruto?"
I stared at his limp body on the ground.
Hot tears begin to roll down my face.
"Chidori!"
Not looking away from the body, I knew the Kakashi Sensai finished the enemy.
I dropped down to my knees and slowly crawled over to Naruto.
"Please. Please." I begged.
He didn't respond when I shook his shoulder.
"Naruto..." I breathed, before pulling him into my arms and crying.
"Sakura..."
He's alive?
Looking down, I see that his blue eyes are half opened and his blond hair is messed up and mixed with dirt.
My eyes travel down to the big, bloody stab wound in his chest.
"Idiot!" I scream.
"Sakura-Chan." he whispers. "I'm sorry, I couldn't get Sasuke back for you."
Sasuke is the last thing on my mind!
"No. Don't say that. People say things like that when they die. You, you won't die, Naruto. You can't."
I hear a clap of thunder in the distance.
"It's going to rain." I whisper.
Naruto looks at me with pleading eyes.
"Please, Sakura-Chan, forgive me."
I know it will sound hysterical, but I say it anyways.
"Sorry about what? Naruto, don't worry, I'm going to fix you up and you'll be back on your feet in no time."
A single tear rolls down his cheek. "No. Not this time. I'm finished..."
It takes all my willpower not to slap him silly right there. "No! No you're not. Naruto, please!"
I didn't realize that I stopped crying, until fresh tears made their way down my face.
"I-I can save you."
Ignoring me, he says, "Sakura-Chan, say you'll forgive me."
"No!" I yell. "I don't need to forgive anyone! You won't die!"
He won't die. The Kyuubi won't let him die. I won't let him die.
I desperately try to heal him.
"Sakura." I hear a voice call behind me.
Kakashi Sensai.
"Sakura," He says again. "Stop, Naru-Naruto's done."
Though I can't see Kakashi Sensai, I can hear him quietly cry.
I take one last look at Naruto.
His shallow breathing rings in my ears.
I look away once his half open eyes start closing all the way.
"Sorry..." he whispers.
His tense body grows limp in my arms.
Naruto...
I look back at his dead body.
Holding him, tight, I begin to violently sob into his shoulder.
*Drip. Drop. Drip. Drop*
It begins to rain, hard, but I don't care.
Though I know he can't hear me anymore, I say my last words to him before running away.
"I forgive you, Naruto..."
