Summary: I went soft, and for what? Rock hard abs! Or was it his piercing brown eyes? Either way the fact remains that things changed between us, and it's all his fault!

Let's get to it!

I don't own nothing, not iCarly, not my house, and most certainly not my brain. It was taken over by aliens a looonnnggggg time ago!

He ruined everything between us!

Everything had been going great between us for a while. Freddie would do something annoying, or he would just be around, and I would hit him. That was our system, and it had worked well! That is what kept our friendship intact . . . IF you could call it that.

It was kind of my fault that things had changed between us! I mean, I WAS the one who stuck a fish in his locker, AND I was the one who ruined his life, AND I was the one who suggested the kiss!

I don't mean that I regret it, the kiss that is, at least I think I don't, but things changed after.

Freddie wasn't all crazy for Carly anymore, and he tried harder to get along with me. It scared me at first, so I started hitting him more . . . but then I started to play along.

It didn't make much of a difference though, because my daily beatings now seemed to cause no pain or suffering on his part. He had grown up and he had the body to prove it. I shouldn't have but I started giving up on those beatings. I knew it was pointless after that so they stopped for the most part.

I went soft, and for what? Rock hard abs! Or was it his piercing brown eyes? Either way the fact remains that things changed between us, and it's all his fault!

"Hey Sam! What are you doing?" Freddie yelled up the stairs.

Sam snapped to attention at the mention of her name only to lose it a few seconds later, after noticing who was calling.

"I was thinking, Nub! Why what's it to you?" Sam yelled accusingly.

"Ooh! I didn't know that the great Sam Puckett actually thought. I thought you just acted on instinct!" Freddie exclaimed teasingly as he walked up the stairs.

"Yeah," she said defensively, "Well some things change!"

Freddie stopped smiling and frowned for a minute before replying, obviously thinking about what he was gonna say next. "Well maybe that's for the best!"

A blush slowly crept up across Sam's face as she tried to decipher the meaning of his words, and for once she was speechless. So she did the only thing she could do to Freddie at that moment!

She got up slowly moving closer and closer to Freddie, and playfully slapped him on the shoulder, before whispering in his ear, "Maybe it is!"

Ooooh yeah! That's what my friend always says, and I think it describes this story perfectly, I mean what else am I supposed to say? Right?
