Author's Note: I wrote this last Spring in my English Class. We were supposed to write a sonnet and I let Shuichi and Yuki's story inspire me (even though I might have tweaked it a bit...) It's not exactly in iambic pentameter unfortunately, but it's still not bad.
My teacher though it was clever of me the way I used the word "Gravitation" but little did she know...
So suddenly I stumbled upon you
You stopped my heart from beating in my chest
Blood rshing to my head was all I knew
And because of this, that day I love best
-
I came to know you, these feelings soon clear
So bore my soul, hopped you would feel the same
My prayers fell short as I met with a leer
And you turned away and ignored my plee.
-
"Give me an answer. Say something Please!"
You stopped in your tracks and told me what's true.
"I've humored you, hoped you'd be appeased
I've no choice left 'cause frankly I hate you."
-
But no matter what you may say to me
I'm still drawn to you just like gravity.
