A/N: Hey guys, after some time, I have a new story up for ya. This one's old; but I'll get to that later. Do enjoy this first chapter. :)

It was a rather peaceful day in Ylisse. Half a year had passed since the Awakening, the land was still recovering from the near apocalypse brought to it. However, it would be a falsehood to say that there was any shortage of peace. Everyone was returning to their daily lives, especially those brave enough to combat the Fell Dragon.

Lucina was finally settling into the life she never had in the her future. She was at peace, with a loving husband and a cheerful child, never mind actually knowing her father and seeing the world as it should be. The thought of existing twice in a single timeline did make her slightly uncomfortable, but it was a thought easily brushed off.

On a peaceful Saturday morning, Lucina was up early, staring at the sunrise from the heights of the Ylissean castle, enjoying herself at all times. Never had she seen a sunrise that wasn't accompanied by death and destruction.

"Up so early, Lucina?" said a familiar voice,

Lucina turned to find Robin approaching behind her.

"Morning, Robin." she responded. "I'm just here, contemplating what I never saw in peace, for once."

Robin walked to the balcony to join her.

"You might as well have called me." he said.

"Maybe I should." said Lucina. "I just haven't seen everything yet. All the things that I missed out on."

"You know I'll do anything for you, Lucina. Let's take today off and go out if you want. Nothing else is going on, and if you want to just look around, enjoy the landscape, we can do that."

"Oh, Robin...that's so sweet of you, Robin." said Lucina, hugging him on the spot.

"Although…" she said. "What about Morgan?"

Robin began pondering for a moment. She had a point, Morgan alone wouldn't be the best of ideas.

"Well...there's always Sully." he said.

"Sully? You think Morgan will get along with her?" asked Lucina.

"No harm in trying, is there? Two days won't be torture for our little Morgan." said Robin.

Lucina was silent for a moment.

"I don't know...but Chrom's too busy elsewhere...fine, I guess."

"Don't worry, Morgan will make it. She's a tough one."

Robin and Lucina walked back inside, the decision made.

With the morning settling in, a sleeping Morgan remained in her bed, blissfully unaware of her surroundings, including her two parents staring in his face.

"Morgan...wake up." said Lucina, in a soothing voice.

The sleeping Morgan made a light struggle.

"Mmmmh...later." she muttered.

Robin and Lucina looked at each other and let out a slight giggle.

"Oh, she's gonna hate us later, isn't he?" whispered Robin.

"She'll get over it," responded Lucina, with a devilish smile.

Lucina put her face close to Morgan's.

"GET UP!" she yelled.

Morgan jumped, tumbling from the bed in shock. Both parents shared a good laugh at her expense. Morgan got up shortly after, not exactly happy about being pranked like that.

"What on earth!?" she yelled.

Robin and Lucina kept laughing.

"Heh-heh, sorry, Morgan, we got a bit impatient." said Robin, still chuckling.

Morgan looked upon both of them in disbelief.

"You could have woken me up, you know, WITHOUT yelling in my face!" she said.

"Yeah, sorry sweetie, we may have gone too far," said Lucina. "But now that you're up, we must have a small talk."

"Well, what is it?" asked Morgan, rubbing her eyes. "No way I'm going back to sleep."

Robin had one last giggle.

"Robin..." said Lucina, annoyed.

"Sorry."

Lucina turned back to Morgan.

"Me and your father are going to travel away from Ylisse for two days. Have some special alone time." she said.

"Does this mean you're not taking me along?" asked Morgan.

"Yes, sadly." said Robin.

Morgan stared for a moment.

"Well, what am I going to do while you're away?" she asked.

Lucina was silent for a brief moment.

"We've thought of that. You'll be staying with Sully for the weekend."

"Grandma Sully?" asked Morgan. "Why her?"

"Do you have a better idea?" asked Robin.

"Chrom." said Morgan.

"Err...Chrom's out of town." said Lucina.

Morgan let out a sigh.

"Fine...but only 2 days, right?" she asked.

"We promise." said Robin. "Now go get dressed."

"Yes, Dad."

She got up and walked to her closet.

Once she was away, Lucina turned to Robin.

"You still think this is a good idea?" she asked.

"What could possibly go wrong?" asked Robin.

Lucina looked at him with a doubtful expression, hoping he was saying that as a joke.

As noon fell and Ylisse became lively, the family of three walked towards Sully's dorm in the castle, located a floor above theirs. Robin and Lucina, for once, were in much more casual clothing, not donning armor. Morgan still wore her robes, though.

They arrived outside Sully's dorm. Morgan looked slightly uneasy.

"Remind me what Sully likes to do, Mother?" asked Morgan.

"All you have to do is enjoy her taste of combat and masculinity." said Lucina.

"She might be a bit brusque, but you can get her to lighten up if you play along." added Robin.

Morgan stared at both of them.

"I'm so getting back at you for this, Father," said Morgan with a devilish smile.

Robin and Lucina looked at each other with a smirk on their faces.

"Of course you will." said Robin, walking to the door.

Robin knocked thrice.

"Sully! You there? We need a favor!" he said.

He got no response. Robin looked down and sighed.

"Well...might as well wait here until she gets back."

"How do you know she isn't with Chrom?" asked Lucina.

"Because I never left." said a voice down the hall.

All three turned in surprise to see Sully, clad in her armor as always, walking towards them in a confident manner.

"Yeah, I had some stuff to do right now on my Friday shift, and now I'm on my break. What favor do you need, Robin?"

"Nice to see you too, Sully. Listen, me and Lucina are going out to have some husband-wife time to ourselves, and we need you to watch over little Morgan here for 2 days." he said.

Morgan turned to her father in disbelief.

"I am NOT little!" she said. "I'm a grand tactician like you!"

Sully stared at the adorably precocious Morgan with her own sense of doubt.

"Let me get this straight. You two want me to watch over your unpredictable daughter who does weird things and is generally weird...for two days?" she asked.

"Basically." said Lucina.

"I don't suppose she'll start banging her head again?" asked Sully.

"No, Sully, she's over that." assured Robin.

Sully stared at Morgan with one last doubt in her mind.

"Are you sure she can control her magic? I don't want to end up killed by your own daughter, you know."

Robin got a nervous expression on his face.

"She's...fine with it. Won't get out of hand. After all, the only things she's used it on are bandits and Risen, so no issue there."

"Fair enough." said Sully. "I'll keep watch on her. Come here, you."

Morgan walked to Sully with a slightly nervous demeanor.

"Just two days…right?" asked Morgan, one more time.

"We promise, Morgan." they said in unison.

"She'll be fine with me." said Sully. "We'll have some fun together, young one."

Morgan thought of her idea of fun. Sully was always a masculine woman, so "fun" might involve swordplay and other brutal activities. She tried to shake the thought off, but couldn't and just remained silent for the moment.

"Thanks a bunch, Sully." said Lucina. "Come on, Robin, let's go enjoy ourselves out there."

Both walked away holding hands as Morgan stared with a neutral expression.

"Well, that's that." said Sully. "Come with me so we can plan out our activities for the weekend."

"Right..." said Morgan.

Both disappeared into Sully's room, the door shut behind.

End Chapter Notes: Like I said, this was an old story dating back to October. I left it in limbo for a long time, and I'm bringing it back. The quality isn't up to that of the other ones due to it's age, but I'm reworking it. Please leave a review! I read everything. :)
