A/N: Hi everyone. Here's another poem starring.... Harry and Hermione! This
poem can be interpreted as a romance or a friendship between Harry and
Hermione. Interpret it however you like.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything related to Harry Potter. Can you guess who does?
Oh come on, guess!
Scene: Seamus has just dumped Hermione for Parvati. Noticing that Hermione is
feeling quite low, Harry comforts her. Are Harry's feelings for Hermione strictly
platonic, or is it something more?
-Don't Cry-
HARRY:
A torrent of tears spilled
From your lovely brown eyes
Your usual ivory skin
Was now blotchy and red
I walked up to you
Asking who dared to make you cry
And this is what you said:
HERMIONE:
Seamus broke up with me
Things didn't work out
I always wanted to study
While he wanted to go out
He was tired of waiting
His patience ran low
His interest in me faded
And it began to show
Parvati, with her brilliant black hair
Smiled and winked at him
Immediately, he was ensnared
He said she was more beautiful
More charming
And more fun
I was just an ugly bookworm
Repulsive, selfish and beyond dumb
For I could not see
That I was just
A second-rate girlfriend
Compared to Parvati
HARRY:
Anger boiled within my heart
How could anyone say that to you?
Seeing you cry over such a fool
Just tears me apart
Don't listen to him
Parvati doesn't even
Come close to you
As far as I'm concerned,
you are more beautiful
Than all of the stars combined
Times a million and two
Your soul is more ageless
Than time itself
Each day, your sweetness
Grows more and more
Your intelligence
Is so striking
That it can't be ignored
Your personality shines brighter
Than any star
Each day I can't help but marvel
At how wonderful you are
I pity Seamus
I really do
He was too stupid to realize
That he had dated
The most amazing girl alive
You are second to no one
Please remember this
No guy deserves your tears
So don't cry over Seamus
Not for another second
Not for another month
Not another year
Hermione
It pains me to see you cry
Promise me you won't do this again
For Seamus or any other guy
Please don't deprive me
Of your brilliant smile
Because your joy
Brightens my day
And makes my life worthwhile
A/N: I hope you enjoyed it! Read and review, please.
