Katsa rolled onto her side, cracking her eyes open to see Po, from the other side of their small campsite, unabashedly staring, a wicked grin carved into the landscape of his handsome face. His grin widened, presumably as he detected the direction of her thoughts. If only you were as humble as you were handsome. She thought towards him, then you might have a chance at gentlemen-hood. He chuckled aloud then, eyes slipping closed as he titled his head back.
It occurred to Katsa at that moment that there was not much she knew about Po. Not much about his past, or even what he had planned for his future.
"You can ask you know." He said, eyes finding hers. She wasn't sure if he would like the direction of her questions. "I wouldn't mind," He responded. "Really, you can ask." Katsa stared at his mismatched eyes, her gaze flickering down to the black tattoo ringing his left bicep. Anything? "Anything." She thought for a moment, drawing in the loose dirt by her side.
"Have you ever gone streaking?" She asked suddenly, eyes trained on the remains of the fire. Po narrowed his eyes at her.
"That's your question? You can ask anything, and that's your question?"
"Must be a pretty good one, if you're avoiding it so adamantly," Katsa replied. Po shook his head and chuckled, leaning back on his elbows.
"Only once. I was thirteen." He gave her a lopsided grin. She glared at him. "What?"
"That's all I get? How about some details? Or motive?"
"Let's just say there'd been some unattended alcohol at one of my father's parties, and I had taken some⦠liberties." She raised an eyebrow at him. "Look, alright, there was a girl I wanted to impress, and in my slightly intoxicated state I thought it would be a good idea to parade my body around through the town." Katsa laughed at that.
"Well now I know why you're not married. You don't possess an ounce of subtlety." Katsa chortled. "I can't imagine how your father reacted."
"You don't want to imagine it. I was this close to being castrated." Po had a pained expression on his face, and Katsa couldn't help but laugh again.
"And what a shame that would have been," she responded with a wicked grin.
