It's Not Virginia!

By Elvenprincess2

Okay, for everyone out there who is convinced that Ginny's real name is Virginia, I have news for you all. I went to the official JK Rowling website, and read some of her character notes. Ginny's full name is Ginevra, not Virginia. For those of you who don't believe me, go to her flash-arific website and click on the tea cup. that will take you to another section of the site that has a bunch of her notes and stuff. If you look under the section call Random facts about the Weasley family, you will find, in her own words, that Ginny's name is Ginevra. the site is www.jkrowling.com. In honor of this discovery, I have decided to write a small poem about the youngest Weasley child. Not my usual character concentration, but it was one of those ideas that wouldnt leave me alone. So there you have it.

I own nothing you recognize.

In my head beneath my hair of red

I think of my life and what it will be.

An only girl with brothers strange

and a family poor but filled with love.

We are pure of blood but also of heart

but Muggle lovers are we all, thus marked

I know myself what this war will bring

Horror to all for the sake of good

I have no doubt that the light will win

The great snake himself knows it too.

When he was in my head beneath my hair of red

he learned many things that he did not like

It is no longer about whether or not he can win

Just how much damage he can do

Many casualties have there already been

My own dear brother fallen under his spell

And the boy who lived, now man who must rise

will face him soon and end this for all

my family, all of the Order will surely follow him

And I will stand with them, ready for what may come.

And when the dust settles and all the smoke clears

many will be gone and all will be over

and I will stand fast beside those I love

ready to give up the lion for the peace of the dove.

And the boy with black hair that I love to this day

Will finally be free to live life his own way

Whether or not I will be a part of it, I don't know

But where he is, near or far, my heart will go.

I, Ginevra Weasley will be there at the end

to die with him, or to comfort a friend

Much has been lost, still more to come

But here is the question, I know it sounds dumb..

Will it all be worth it when the battle is won?

I know the Dark Lord, as few people could

I know in the end he still will have won

For many will die, on both sides of the line

All for the sake of the good and the light.

Can anything be good if it causes harm?

Is the rainbow really worth the destruction of the storm?

All of these thought in my head beneath my hair of red

As I close this book and make ready for bed.

A/N: Okay, this is a really bad one shot. I am tired and just needed to get this out. I did not mean it to have any sort of form, rather just a somewhat poetic stream of thought as one tends to have late at night before bed. It was just an idea that was bouncing around in my head beneath my hair of red (yes, like Ginevra (i love the name!) I too have red hair, though much much darker). Review if you want.

For my readers of I Will Remember You: I know it has been 7 months since I last updated. Real life and school got in the way. Now that I have finally graduated, I should have time to work on it again. New chapter coming soon, maybe my the end of the weekend.

Good Night Everybody!
