Chapter 1: The Ever Evolving Armor
Ok so to those who are reading True Power I am once again sorry, but don't worry I'm not abandoning it but I can't post until my Beta gets back me. So in the mean time enjoy this story that crossed my mind while reading the latest chapter so enjoy.

Tatsumi felt his body going cold as he stared into Akame's face, he smiled a sad smile "it seems i won't be able to keep my promise to you please forgive me Akame" and with that Tatsumi closed his eyes and waited for death to take him. "Mein, bro, everyone I'll be joining you soon" he suddenly heard someone speak "O, Pentagon of the five elemental powers, Heed my summoning and bring forth my FAMILIAR!" Suddenly Tatsumi felt a warmth surround him as the pain left his body and he felt himself become grounded to his body, the last thing he heard was an explosion.
SCENE CHANGE
Louise coughed as her spell failed yet again "why, why couldn't it work just this once, just so I could prove I'm not a zero" she cried in her mind. The other students were now yelling at her removing what little pride and self confidence she had, as she was near a breakdown she heard a groan. Colbert quickly cast a wind spell to rid the air of the dust from the explosion his eyes widened as he saw what was in the crater.
I strange metal creature with dragon like wings and tail was lying in the hole and from what Colbert could see was bleeding profusely. Louise ran down into the crater to help her new familiar, but before she could reach it cracks started to form around its body before shattering and revealing the creature beneath it. She turned the body over and saw a boy not much older than her with brown hair, she thought he could be described as attractive if not for the wounds that surrounded the boys body and the area around him with his blood. "Ha-Ha-Ha way to go zero you wounded you're familiar while trying to summon it" Guiche laughed at the girl and her familiar, when he looked up he saw Professor Colbert giving him a stern glare "this is no laughing matter Mister Gramont now you and the rest of the class go back to your rooms class is over for the day."
He turned towards Tabitha who was looking at the boy in the hole "Tabitha would you help me get him to the medical wing and make sure he doesn't bleed out before he gets their" Tabitha nodded her head and cast a levitation spell lifting the body and began to walk towards the medical wing. "Mister Colbert what will happen to him" Louise asked with worry in her voice "I don't know Miss Valliere we will try to save him but his wounds looked severe come by later tonight and if he has stabilized then we can complete the ritual." Louise nodded as Colbert walked away to follow Tabitha, as she began to head towards her room something caught her eye in the pool of blood left by her familiar.
It was sword, it was slightly shorter than the average sword and a bit wider but the thing that drew her attention was the large red gem set in the middle of the guard. As she looked at it closer she felt as though the weapon was alive and the jem was looking at her, she shook her head at the thought before wrapping it in her cloak and walking away. "This looks like its precious to him so I'll hang on to it for when he wakes up, besides if he has this than he is likely a high ranking warrior where he is from it's a shame I'll have to tell him that his armor shattered" she thought as she walked to her room.
SCENE CHANGE
Tatsumi felt like he was floating in one of the rivers back in his home village, just when spring broke and gave way to summer and they had a few weeks before the snow would set in again. But unlike the river which would chill him to the bone and help stop the heat this river felt warm and comfortable almost… loving even. He felt his wounds stop aching and his strength returning but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't open his eyes or gain a bearing of where he was at. After what seemed like hours he heard voices ¨so what is his condition¨ asked a male voice ẗhat had a hint of age to it ¨he's stable but it will take a few weeks before he is conscience and several months before he will be able to move independently of his own will¨ answered another man who sounded younger than the first.
Tatsumi couldn't take it anymore every fiber of his being was screaming for him to wake up and after what felt like a fight worse than anything Esdese had ever inflicted on him he opened his eyes. ¨Where am I¨ came from Tatsumi's dry throat startling the two men in the room with him both had wide large eyes and open mouths as they stared at him. ¨How are you awake the doctor said you wouldn't wake for several weeks¨ questioned the bald man with glasses. Tatsumi just shrugged ¨not the first time I've been on the brink of death and will probably not be the last¨ he answered. The men just looked at him as though he had grown a second head ¨hey not to be rude or anything but can you tell me who you are and where I'm at.¨
The bald man blinked and shook his head before clearing his throat ¨ of course my name is Jean Colbert and this is the headmaster Old Osmond, you are currently at Tristania academy of magic the finest school in the land¨ he said with a hint of pride. Tatsumi raised an eyebrow ¨by magic do you mean like summoning a fireball and chanting spells¨ the two nodded their heads as Tatsumi shut his eyes, he then started to laugh. ¨Puft-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha magic you actually believe that magic exists, what are you crazy or did you just do too many drugs¨ he questioned as he continued to laugh. He stopped though when he saw the glasses man summon a ball of fire above his staff, Tatsumi was left speechless at what was in front of him.
¨How are you doing that, is that some kind of Teigu or something¨ Tatsumi screamed at Colbert who just shook his head ¨no this is magic and what is a Teigu?¨ This time it was Tatsumi that looked at the man as though he grew the second head ¨you know Teigu also known as an Imperial Arm some of the most powerful weapons in the entire worlds.¨ Colbert just looked at him and shook his head "no we don't have anything like that the most powerful weapons we have are magic weapons and cannons." Tatsumi looked at him before a flash went through his mind "have you ever heard of the Capital, the corrupt Prime Minister, Night Raid, the Jagers or the Revolutionary Army" he asked. This time it was Old Osmond who spoke "well we do have a Capital but its not called just the Capital and as for the Prime Minister we have some but they hold little power or sway in the affaires of the people and as for the others we never heard of such things." Tatsumi sat their for a minute before throwing off his blanket and attempting to stand up "can you help me get outside, if I see the stars i can see where I'm at and can get back my friends are probably worried about me."
Not even bothering to answer Colbert grabbed Tatsumi's arm and began to walk, he knew that the kid should be resting but also knew that he wouldn't until he knew where he was. As they opened the door and stepped out Tatsumi looked up and began to see familiar stars and began to get a general location of where he was when something stopped him and made his blood run cold. "Wh-Why-Why are their t-two moo-moons" he stuttered out his eyes wide with disbelief and fear. Colbert looked at his face before answering "their are always two moons in the sky, why does that seem so strange?" Tatsumi looked at Colbert as he felt his knees go weak and he slumped forward almost taking Professor Colbert with him "where I come from we only have one moon" he barely choked out.
Colbert's eyes once again widened in surprise "he's from another world, I knew that it was possible but for him to actually be here right now is beyond my wildest dreams and from what he's telling me his people are far more advanced than us!" Colbert hefted the boy up and they began to walk back to the infirmary in silence, once back inside Colbert put Tatsumi back on the bed and turned towards Old Osmond and explained the situation. Old Osmond was just as surprised as Colbert, it wasn't uncommon for objects to be summoned from another world but for another human to be summoned was a different matter entirely.
They were all shaken from their thoughts when a knock on the door interrupted them, Colbert stood up and went to open the door where he found Louise on the other side holding something in her cloak. "Ah Miss Valliere I was wondering when you would show up, there has been several new developments regarding your familiar the first of which is that he is against all odds awake" he saw her eyes go wide in surprise before changing to joy. "But their has been an unseen complication, it turns out that your familiar is not just from these lands but also not anywhere in our world" he finished as Louise tried to understand "so what you're saying is that" he cut her off. "Yes Miss Valliere your familiar is indeed a human but he is from another world" as he finished he saw Louise's eyes glaze over before she fainted.
He quickly caught her before she could fall to the floor, he sighed before picking her up and carried her to the other bed in the room placing her down and turning back to Tatsumi and Osmond. "Well it seems we have some time before she comes too, so why don't you tell us about your world Tatsumi" he asked, Tatsumi hesitated before nodding. As he began to tell them about his country and what his life was like growing up with Sayo and Ieyasu before telling them of setting off in for the Capital for money for the village. He stopped when he get to the part of his first encounter with Night Raid, at the same house where Sayo and Ieyasu were tortured to death "are you ok Tatsumi" Osmond asked when he saw the pain and grief pass on on the young boys face.
"Yeah its just this part is painful to remember but there's nothing i can do to change what's happened" he answered before continuing. Telling them about his fight with Akame and finding the shed before he killed the bitchy blonde that had tortured Sayo all because she was jealous of her hair. At this both Osmond and Colbert could hardly believe it, Nobles were meant to protect the people and these wolves in sheeps clothing had offered a helping hand to others only to stab them in the back with their other. "After that I joined Night Raid to help save the people of the Capital so that no one would ever be a victim like they were" he said soberly at this both of the teachers were stunned. Here was a boy not much older than their own students who had decided to walk the path of blood and death all for those who had fallen before him and those who were still fighting.
"So what are the people of Night Raid like Tatsumi" Colbert asked curious of what kind of people would also walk the same path as Tatsumi and their stories. "Oh the rest of Night Raid well their.." Tatsumi stopped when he couldn't remember anything about the rest of the members, it all was a complete plank to him. He could still remember the lesson's the others had taught him but couldn't remember their names faces or their lives before he met them, it was all just gone. "I-I-I don't remember anything its all blank, I still know about the fights we were in but I can't remember anything about them" Tatsumi said as horror passed over his face. Colbert and Osmond looked at each other, it was not that uncommon that the boy had lost his memories considering the condition that he had been in when he had been summoned.
"Its ok Tatsumi, I'm sure that its just due to summoning you and the damage that had occurred before hand, I'm sure with time you will remember" he gave Tatsumi a reassuring smile. Tatsumi smiled back and thanked the teacher, he then looked over at Louise's bed "why is that girl pretending to be asleep?" Both mens eyes widened at that and Louise bolted up out of the bed "how did you know I wasn't asleep" she demanded. Tatsumi just shrugged "it was easy your breathing wasn't slow and regulated like a person thats asleep it was quick and deep like people trying not to make noise." Louise just gaped at Tatsumi her face turning red with embarrassment she was about ready to explode when Colbert spoke up. "Well seeing as both you and you're familiar are awake Miss Valliere we should finish the ritual and seal the contract" Colbert stated. Louise started to protest about how a commoner was not good enough for her when Tatsumi spotted the sword that Louise had wrapped in her cloak.
He quickly grabbed Louise who yelped at the sudden contact, she was about to yell at Tatsumi when she saw him pull his sword out of her cloak "so he was just going for his weapon" she calmed down seeing as he was not attacking her. As Tatsumi unwrapped the cloth she had used to clean his blood from it he was shaking, when he finally saw the jewel in the hilt he stopped shaking and smiled pulling the sword close to him. "You're still alive thank god, I thought that the last transformation might have been to much for you to handle sorry for doubting you Incursio" he smiled as he began to cry tears of joy.
Louise looked at her familiar "why is he talking to it like that, like its an actual person" she shook her head before turning to Tatsumi "that was the only thing that survived your trip, I'm sorry to say that your armor broke shortly after you were summoned." Tatsumi looked at her and shook his head "no the armor didn't break it just returned to its sealed state" he told her. Louise looked him "what do you mean its sealed state, it was just a normal suit of armor nothing more" she stated hoping her familiar would see reason. Tatsumi just shook his head and raised Incursio "this is my armor when it not in use, the ever evolving armor Incursio its one of the Teigu I told you about" he answered. Colberts eyes widened as he closely looked at the blade, it was indeed razor sharp but he could feel that their was something more to it he looked at the jem in the hilt and felt a bolt a pure fear run through him. When he looked into that jem he felt as though he had just looked into the eyes a very old and very powerful warrior, no that didn't describe it it wasn't a warrior it was a conquer, someone who would not bow to anyone or anything.
Tatsumi saw Colbert's reaction and explained "the reason that you just felt as though Incursio was alive is because he is, his body and core were made from a danger beast known as Tyrant it was always searching for new prey and enemies so it constantly let itself adapt and evolve even now it will always evolve to destroy its enemies." Colbert and Osmond both shuddered at the explanation before a thought crossed both of their minds "how powerful is this boy that he can control something as strong and viscous as this monster" Louise just scoffed at his explanation. "If something as powerful as that existed then how was it caught and turned into this all powerful armor of yours" she questioned knowing that her familiar would have to admit that he was lying. "It took hundreds of thousands of the best trackers and strongest soldiers in the entire world years to finally track it down and just wound it, it took calling in another Tiegu user to finally subdue it" he raised his head and narrowed his eyes. "Tyrant was never killed his soul and all of his power were bound to a sword made of its own body" he then slammed Incursio into the ground before finishing "even to this day it will not except someone weak as its partner and kills anyone that tries to use it and fails the test."
Louise glared at her familiar for telling such an obvious lie, Colbert and Osmond both believed what Tatsumi had said they felt the power and danger that radiated of of the weapon. "Tatsumi I have a request of you" Colbert said after getting his head together, Tatsumi turned towards him "sure what do you need." Colbert cleared his throat "could I examine your Tiegu, I would like to see if we have the ability to make them and if we do could you help us so that way we could train our soldiers using th…" before he could finish Tatsumi screamed at him. "You can't use them in training ever, whenever two Teigu users fight only one is allowed to walk away alive, the battle won't end until one is dead by the others hands!" All three of the mages looked at the boy with wide eyes before Colbert shook his head understanding "so they're too dangerous to make, its probably for the best anyways if someone else got their hands on one and was able to escape…" Colbert cringed at the thought.
It was Old Osmond that broke the silence "well sense thats out of the way, Tatsumi I also have a favor would you please be Miss Valliere familiar" he asked. Tatsumi thought about what the man had said before shrugging his shoulders "sure I don't see a problem with it" if what he remembered from the stories was correct all he would have to do is protect her. Before he could ask for specifics Louise stood in front of him chanting I Louise Francoise Le Blanc de La Valliere accept this humble creature as my Familiar and then she kissed him. Before he could push her away Tatsumi felt a burning sensation in his left hand, he clutched the blanket and gritted his teeth in pain. When it finally dissipated there were strange marks on his hands, he turned and glared at Louise "what-did-you-do-to-me" he said through his teeth having not unclenched them from the pain yet.
Louise glared at Tatsumi before flipping her hair over "you should feel lucky that a noble such as myself would accept you as her slave." Tatsumi was out of the bed ready to kill "slave-SLAVE I promised to be partners not master and servant, just like Incursio I will not serve someone weaker than myself" he screamed. Louise turned red with anger "yo-you-YOU DARE TALK THAT WAY TO YOUR MASTER, YO-YOU YOU DOG!" she raised her wand and quickly spoke a spell to make him obey, but like all her other spells this one turned into an explosion. Tatsumi could feel his world going black with a final thought "you know she reminds me of another fiery tempered pink head, what was her name?" we blacked out.
So finally done I'm really happy to move on to the duel next chapter. And before you ask yes Tatsumi will remember the rest of Night Raid when he needs them. Well until than see you later.
