Confessions
'I love you. Three simple words, but, why are they so hard to say? For three long years I've been in love with you. One of my best friends said I should tell you and she is your cousin so she must be right. Well here goes something,' I thought while I was hanging out with the love of my life. " Max?" I said. "Yeah Tala?" he replied. " There's something I've been meaning to tell you," I paused. "What is it Tala?" I looked into his ocean blue eyes and tried to speak. " I… I l-love…" I take a deep breath and try to finish what I started, " … I love… you," I finally say.
-Max's P.O.V-
"… I love… you," I stare wide eyed at what Tala said. "You… What?" was all I could mange to say. "I love you Max and I have ever since the day I first saw you," he replied. I didn't know what to say, no, I knew what to say I just couldn't say it. He turned around " its ok if you don't love me back," he started walking. Without thinking I grabbed his wrist making him stay, "… you too," I mumbled. He looked back at me and said, "What?" " I love you too, Tala," I said looking up at him. I let go of Tala's wrist and looked down blushing. While looking down I hadn't noticed that Tala had turned around until he lifted my head and our lips met. I'm positive my face was matching his hair. I slowly close my eyes and deepened the intensity of the kiss by forcing my tongue into his mouth.
-Tala's P.O.V-
Suddenly, my lover shoved his tongue into my mouth. I greeted this new intruder ferociously, and fought back. The battle for dominance ended with me as the winner, the alpha male. Finally pulling apart after several minutes, from lack of air, we hear some clapping. We turn around to see ALL of our friends gently clapping. Max's cousin, Rena, smirked and said, " I told you so."
I smiled as she strolled over to Kai, held out her hand, and said, " Where's my twenty?"
'She actually made a bet? And Kai bet against her? I thought he was smarter than that,' I thought shaking my head. I look to Max who was nuzzling my chest, lifted his head, and kissed him gently. I had longed for this moment and after three years I finally got it. I never thought that a happy-go-lucky kid like my Max would ever love a person like me. Well I guess that's life for you, nobody ever knows what'll happen next.
