It all starts in a magical garden called Eden where the fruits are said to give eternal knowledge and life. However it was sinful to eat of these fruits for knowing everything and living forever was a curse. A boy with brown hair though, found the fruit to be interesting and was tempted by the cursed, vile snake to eat of it. So he did unknowing what would happen. The boy, Shion, suddenly became knowledgable in all things and it was said he would live forever. However, the snake marked him and embedded itself in the boy's body causing his hair to turn white. They say since he was cursed he would be trapped in Eden until his other came. His significant other. Together the two could break the curse and Shion would be lonely, in Eden, no more.
(Five years later)
A raven haired boy named Nezumi found his way into Eden. He had been looking for Eden purely for his own research, however he was getting weird speculations about the place. It wasn't until he heard something crash that he found something extravagant within the garden. A young male figure, marked by an evil snake fell from the top of a tree branch, and landed on the grassy, earth floor. The unknown male rubbed his thigh and began to shed tears. Nezumi felt sympathetic to him, made himself known, and helped the young crying figure up.
"Are you okay, your Highness?" The dark haired male asked.
The white haired boy was confused as to what kind of greeting this was, "Y-your Highness?"
Nezumi smirked and chuckled on the inside, "It's what I'll refer to you as for now. What's your name, your Highness?"
"Sh-Shion." The snowy haired boy said in reply.
"Well Shion, would you like me to escort you back to where you live?" Nezumi asked.
Shion looked saddened by this question but then said softly, "This is...where I live."
Confusion and wonder filled Nezumi's brain, "Here? In Eden? This is all plants and trees though."
Shion nodded his head quietly then whispered, "I am forced to live here...because of a curse."
Nezumi then questioned, "Curse?" The dark haired boy shook his head and smiled, "Curses are myths. They don't actually exist. And even if they did why would you be cursed to live here of all places?"
Shion looked at him with pleading eyes, "I'm serious. I'm cursed to live here until my significant other arrives and together we can break the curse and I won't be lonely here in Eden anymore."
"Are you the only human here?" Nezumi then asked.
Shion shook his head, yes, in reply. Nezumi thought long and hard about what to do about the snowy haired boy's situation, however there was only one logical solution. If Shion couldn't leave, then why didn't he just stay with him instead, to keep him company.
"Have you seen any of these plants?" Nezumi said showing Shion a book with drawn pictures in them.
Shion smiled, nodded, and lead the way through Eden to the flowers.
(Mini Time Lapse)
Once they had gotten out of the dense forests, the both of them ended up in a beautiful garden full of flowers like the ones drawn in Nezumi's book. Shion smiled as Nezumi taught him the proper names of all the flowers in the garden.
The dark haired male said, "This one is a daffodil and that one's a daisy."
Shion chuckled but nodded.
Nezumi and Shion hadn't expected the day to role by as fast as it did. As the sun set over the horizon, Shion stopped Nezumi before he went into his tent and said, "There is a snake so vile and evil even the heaven couldn't fathom the idea of keeping it in its bindings. The snake was sent to earth because of this. If you come in contact with the snake, trust what the serpent says to you, for he only speaks lies. His ignorance keeps him absent-minded." Shion then grabbed both of Nezumi's hands and heightened his grip around them, "Please heed my words carefully. If not you will lose your way as I did and I do not wish that for you."
Nezumi nodded, said goodbye, and went inside hide his tent.
(Mini Time Lapse)
An hour passed and Nezumi started to hear a strange voice outside of his tent call to him. When he peaked out to see what it was he saw nothing, so he returned to doing what he was originally doing. He had been writing down notes on everything he had seen and things on Shion and what he had said. Nezumi heard his name again. He looked out but only this time saw a serpent outside of his tent. The snake was calling his name repeatedly however when they met eye-to-eye it said to him, "Come young one, if you eat of this magical fruit I will show you, all the questions you have ever had about the universe (knowledge and power) will be answered."
"All of them?" Nezumi asked.
The snake nodded slowly and then said, "Nothing is impossible with just a single bite of the fruit of Eden."
As the dark serpent started to slither away Nezumi quickly put on some shoes and left his tent. The two traveled to the garden where Shion had taken him, however the snake took him to a very large tree that looked like it was a few thousand years old. The tree had apples growing on it.
"This is it," The snake started, "I cannot take you any further."
Nezumi nodded and the snake quickly slithered away.
The dark-haired male stared at the tree with awe. The bright, red apples glistened as they hung from the brown branches of the large tree. The obtuse moon in the dark sky made the apples gleam even brighter. They looked absolutely delectable.
Reaching towards the lowest branch to pick one, Nezumi fuller the fruit off the tree and brought it close to his lips. Just as he was about to take a bit out of it, someone hit him from behind, knocking the fruit out of his hand.
When he looked over, he saw Shion out of breath on the floor. He asked, "What are you doing out here at this hour, your highness?"
Shion rolled his eyes, "You were about to eat of the fruit even though I warned you not to."
"You mean these apples? There's nothing wrong with-" Shion interrupted him.
"Did you not listen to me earlier? The fruits here are infected and will cause you great harm if you eat of them. Did a snake tell you to eat them?"
Nezumi nodded.
Shion's eyes softened, "Well, next time do as I advise you and don't listen to the serpent. He only wishes you harm."
Nezumi nodded his head. With that argument done, the two trotted together back through the forest to Nezumi's tent. Once there Nezumi said, "Thank you for saving me, your Highness."
Shion's face turned a deep shade of red, "It-it was nothing. Just ask me if you need an-" before Shion could finish his sentence, Nezumi had pounced on warming there mouthed with a flaming kiss. The two continues this and more all through the night.
(Time Lapse)
It was morning and both Nezumi and Shion had awoken in Nezumi's tent covered in dried up cum. In spite of there being a large mess in the tent, Shion directs Nezumi to a river and he suggests the two bathe there to get cleaned off from last nights elicit activities. As the water rushes onto Shion's back, the pain in his spine starts to reside and he felt relieved.
It was strange however because a month later, Shion had started vomiting in the early morning. He'd awake from his slumber earlier than his lover to rush out and vomit and to find breakfast for the two of them afterwards pretty early in the morning. Eventually, Nezumi caught on to Shion's strange behaviors and became suspicious of him.
"Shion are you alright?" Nezumi asked one morning.
Shion had decided he'd ignore Nezumi's questions until it became dire for him to answer them.
A few days passed and Nezumi received a message, by messenger hawk, from his officials to come back and report everything he had discovered.
Biting his lip, Nezumi hid the letter from Shion and got lost in deep thought about whether he'd go back or not.
Shion called to Nezumi and the dark-haired male came to the white haired boy. Shion then said to the raven, "I want to take you to meet someone today."
Nezumi was puzzled by this, "Didn't you say that you were the only one here?"
Shion nodded then proceeded, "Well yes but this is a little different. Just trust me will you?"
Sighing, Nezumi took Shion's hand and the two walked through the forest and back to the garden where the giant tree that lit up with apples had grown.
Shion then did something unexpected, he started speaking to the tree. He said hello to it and asked the tree how it was and if it was having a good day. This left Nezumi puzzled.
With a ruffle of its leaves the tree then came to life, causing Nezumi's confusion to turn into bewilderment.
"It has been a while since we last spoke young one," The tree said.
Shion nodded the tree abruptly stopped its rustling and all was silent. The tree then asked Shion, "Who has planted that seed with in you?"
Shion was comfused but replied, "I'm not sure what you mean, however I have brought you someone I met a while ago and I think you should meet him too." With that, Shion introduced Nezumi to Mother, the grand tree. She was the eldest and most powerful tree in all of Eden.
"Did you implant that seed in my child?" Mother asked the raven.
Nezumi shrugged.
Mother then said, "It seems that my young one is now caring a little one in side of him."
Shion asked, "What do you speak of Mother?"
"You are pregnant my son. Someone has fertilized you." The female tree 'Mother' said.
This stopped the both of them for a moment.
"I'm confused." Shion stated plainly.
"If this is the man that you have been involved with, then he will be the father of the child you now carry in your womb." The tree said.
"Would that explain why I've been feeling sick lately and very hungry too?" The snow-haired boy asked the tree.
The tree shook in response, that was a yes.
This made Nezumi very nervous. He didn't know if he was prepared for a baby much less to have it with another man whom he had only just met, in Eden of all places. However, Nezumi would give Shion a chance because Shion was very nice towards him.
After the meeting with the tree, Mother, they both returned to the tent. There Nezumi told Shion about the letter he had received. Shion' s eyes watered at the thought of Nezumi leaving him here all alone again but Nezumi reassured him that he would return. He only needed to go back to check-in with the scientists at the lab. And so the next morning when Shion awoke he found a good-bye letter from Nezumi promising to return.
(Seven Months Later)
The snowy haired boy laid in the tent disregarding everything he had to do. He had awoke to incredible amounts of pain in his back and on his feet that it was giving him a headache just thinking about it. In the end, Shion got up and waddled off to pick some of the good fruits.
As Shion put a hand-made basket down on the ground, he felt the child start kicking in his stomach again. Rubbing the area with one hand, he used his other hand to pick fruits only low enough for him to reach. While reaching for one he nearly feel over but was caught by someone or something. As he looked up he saw a figure but the light blocked him from seeing it clearly. Once the sun was out of the way his eyes widened and a smile lit up on his astonished face. It was Nezumi, just like he had promised.
Shion embraced the raven and the two shared a passionate kiss under the fruit tree. Nezumi then looked down at the large, round abdomen that poked out at him. Shion blushed when the raven kissed the top of his belly and rubbed it gently.
"The baby's due soon?" Nezumi asked.
Shion smiled and nodded, "Any day now. That's what mother said at least."
Nezumi nodded, pleased, and helped Shion back to the tent with the basket of fruit.
The two spent the rest of the day catching up with each other, talking about the child, and discussing potential names.
(Mini Time Lapse)
The next day, as the two bathed in the river, Shion felt a strange sensation come on but ignored it. He had been feeling it all morning but didn't think much of it. It wasn't until a clear liquid escaped an opening in between his length and arse hole that he realized something major was happening. A zap of pain hit him causing him to fall to his knees when this occurred. Nezumi had to take action quickly and carry the pregnant boy out of the water. He laid him near the shore of the river and proceeded to assist Shion in delivering their child.
After dilating, Nezumi told Shion to follow his commands and everything would be alright. The snow-colored haired boy nodded and proceeded to 'push' when Nezumi instructed him to do so. This continued until wailed and cries were heard escaping a newborns lips. In Nezumi's hands was the infant.
After a few hours of setting everything, Shion and Nezumi were able to get back to the tent safely with their infant. Shion started Breast feeding the new female infant and in the end after a minor quarrel, they decided to name the baby Safu.
All was going well in Eden, apparently procreating had been the way to break the 'curse' Shion had. Just as it said at the end though, the two would live happily in the end, only now the only worry they had was their baby girl, Safu.
A/N: I've been 'writing' this story for the past year. I wasn't very productive with it at the beginning so I kind of just forgot about it and wrote some other ones. However now that O actually came up with something good, I hope you like this one-shot. Follow, favorite, & review please!
