"Kyolo's late again?" The president of the GJ-Club, Mao, asked as she ate Pocky while reading manga. Though she seems not to be interested in the manga, as she has not turned the page in quite some time.
"It seems to be the case as well for today, Mao." Replied Shion, Mao's childhood friend. "It's been like this for a few weeks now. Now that Kyolo-san has a girlfriend…" Her words seemed to trail off. She was at her usual spot in front of the computer. Her opponent in online chess grew tired and left the game because Shion hasn't made her move.
Mao's younger sister, Megumi, stood at the back of the room. Several cups of tea stood like an army on top of the counter, waiting to be drunk. "No one's here to drink my tea…" She muttered to herself. Mao turned to her and sighed, "I'll drink some of your tea, Megumi."
"B-but… I want Kyouya-san to drink it."
"Come on. He'll be here in a while so don't worry." Mao replied.
Megumi put five cups of tea on a tray and began to distribute them to the remaining club members. Kirara sat on her couch, an enormous pile of cooked meat on the coffee table which remained untouched.
Tamaki sat beside Mao, staring up at the ceiling. After each member received a cup of tea, one cup remained on the tray; the cup which was for Kyolo.
The atmosphere in the club room hasn't been the same ever since Kyolo started being in a relationship with an underclassman. The girls wished him the best with his new girlfriend. They put on smiles and cheered him on. But deep down, they knew they were hurting themselves.
Because all five of them were in love with Kyolo.
Silence fell unto the room. Not one of the girls spoke and continued what they seemed to be doing. Then, there came the sound of a door opening.
"Sorry I'm late again." Kyolo said as he closed the door behind him. In an instant, everyone in the room sprang to life as if their powerless batteries have been replaced with new ones. The mere sight of the one they are in love with instantly made things livelier, like it always was back then.
