Miley's POV
I'd been on vacation with my cousin Annie for almost a month now. We went to a island that her father had bought her for her birthday last year. I wish I had an island the size of that.
But I was so relieved to be going to home to my friends. How much did I miss? My cell phone didn't get any reception there or on the plane, so Lilly must have been texting me a lot just filling me in on the happenings in Malibu.
When we got to the airport I checked my phone, surprised to see that there were no new messages from anyone..
Lilly's POV
I had done a lot of sneaky things before but this about tops them all. I was still dating Oliver, yes. And I still did love him. But I was also with Jackson. But no one knew this. I always had feelings for Jackson, but now they were more visible then anything.
I had to see him. So I put on my helmet and grabbed my skateboard, and was off to the beach to see him at work.
Miley's POV
"Daddy!" I shouted as I ran over and gave my dad a huge hug. "Where is everyone?" "Well, Lilly is probably down at the beach with Oliver and Jackson is working." "Argh. Why couldn't they just come here for like ten minutes to say hello?" He just shrugged. "Miles how am I supposed to know the teen scene?" I just smiled and let him go on his run.
Off to the beach!
Lilly's POV
Finally I saw him, and my heart raced to the speed of a cheetah. He was so perfect, in everyway. He was very cute and very nice. And although he never showed it, he was a polite gentleman. All the things a girl could ever want. And I had him, but another thing. He was my best friends brother, this isn't supposed to be. Is what I thought everyday of my friendship with Miley. But yet again.
"Hey Jackson, can I have a water bottle?" He nodded and winked at me. "So you still wanna go out tonight?" "Jackson, I'm sorry. Miley is coming home today and she and I were planning a sleepover, plus a welcome home party." "Well at least I'll see you tonight." He leaned over the counter and kissed me. And I smiled.
Miley's POV
Oh boy! I just saw my brother and Lilly kissing! What did I miss, why wasn't I informed? What happened to Oliver? So many questions ran through my mind as I tried to process this. So Lilly and Jackson, Why?
