Prologue
Damien, E. R. F Trainee
Jet black hair fell over a pair of matching black eyes. A small grin was placed neatly on a thin, peach face. Damien Akimoto stood 6'3" off the ground, staring himself in the mirror.
"158.5," he whispered to himself, now overlooking his scale. His voice was smoothe and icy. It wasn't deep, but wasn't soft either. It seemed to fit him perfectly.
Damien pulled his black trainee shirt over his head and laced his black combat boots, tucking them neatly into his pair of black sweat pants. Damien was a trainee for the Emperial Renegade Forces. The "E. R. F" was an association established by Hiltz' before his death. It was to gather followers of the prolong General Prozon and ban together to defeat the allied forces of the Gaurdian Force.
Damien walked down the small corridor, lined with classrooms filled with other trainee students learning how to bring out the full potential of a Zoid. Zoids were macha-combat warriors built on the planet Zi, millions of light-years away from Earth on the edge of the milkyway.
Reaching the end, he finally gave a smile. Standing before him were several of his peers, dressed exactly like Damien. Quickly saluting them, he joined the queu and awaited for the Head COunselor of the establishment to arrive.
A tall man with long silver hair entered. He wore a black three piece suite with a white handkerchief in his pocket. His tan skin seemed to glow in the artificial light of the average sized room. He had a pair of light blue eyes that seemed to have been chizzled from ice as well as an evil smirk that appeared whenever he stared at the trainees.
"I'm Head Counselor Kairi Ai."
His voice seemed to run chills down the cadet's spine. It was soft and smoothe, neither cracking nor hesitating. He seemed to speak in an unchanging monotone.
"You trainees are here due to your appreciation to the Emperial Renegade Forces. I feel most of you won't survive the extreme training you are about to enter."
Kairi began pacing back in forth in front of the nervous students, his black shoes maintaining silence over the black carpet. "I shall have one of my professors lead you outside to begin your prerequisite. Anyone who passes will undergo training as an agent. Anyone who doesn't will maintain the ranking of trainee until they are able to pass or prove themselves."
A light smirk was thrown at Damien as the small line of ten saluted him then stood at ease.
After several minutes of silence, the heavy black door opened and a tall woman strode in. She had black hair, like most of the trainees, and was dressed in a white lab coat overtop a long black dress. She quickly saluted Head Counselor Kairi before leading the line outside the room.
They made a stop outside the large front door. The line turned, facing the professor, listening to her every word.
"Hello children. I'm Professor Hokuto of the Zoid Development Comittee. I represent this foundation as one of two who create Zoids for future us of the E. R. F."
The children saluted her, then awaited her next command. "I'll lead you all outside and we'll begin the prerequisite as soon as possible."
