Okay, this is a poem about when Ran runs away from the Cage, only to end up in another one...I wrote this on the back of my Chinese notebook, and I haven't done any real work on it, so...criticism is greatly appreciated!
I want to leave
to fly away
to see the cloudy sky
I want to get away from you
to sever all our ties
The soldiers come to stop me
I kill without remorse
I need to get away from you
if it requires force
A single man is standing there
he does not say a word
I want to get away from you
and be a dying bird
The soldier takes me to his home
he does not jeer or taunt
I need to get away from you
is this the place I want?
I want to stay
to never leave
no longer be forlorn
I had to get away from you
and now I've been reborn
