Sorcerer's Apprentice parellel rewrite

What if it was Balthazar as the Prime instead of Dave, Rebecca instead of Veronica. A rewrite switching the roles of master and apprentice. Based off of Kenobigirlz 10 things. I loved writing this!K for the rising!

Prolouge

David and Rebecca ride up to the castle to see dead guards lying around, Rebecca pulls down her hood to reveal long, blond, curly hair and blue eyes. David then pulls his hood down, showing black hair and brown eyes showing. Both move faster into the castle.

Inside Merlin is fighting off Morgana, the two apprentices charge in too late; Merlin has been stabbed by Morgana. David fires a plasma bolt only to be hit by Horvath, causing a gash to now adorn his forearm. Rebecca watches Horvath leave as Morgana readies to kill David. She then takes it upon herself to save him by doing the transmutation spell and forces David to put her in the grimhold.

David walks to his master's side and is given the dragon ring, told to find the Prime Merlinian and using his last breath, Merlin casts a spell on them so that they never age until Merlin's successor is found.

David watches the last breath of his master, then sets off on his journey to find the Prime Merlinian.
