"You are quite adept, Faith," Giles remarked, his studious mouth quirking with a smile, "for a novice player. I would not have thought you a chess player."
Faith shrugged. "With the right partner. I used to play with my grandfather." She leaned closer to her opponent, studying him through dark and veiled eyes. "But what do ya say we really make this interesting, G?"
"Oh? How so?"
He listened to Faith's idea as he made a move that trumped her lead Knight. "If you are certain . . . " he spoke uncertainly himself, eyeing the girl before him.
"Oh, I'm sure." Faith grinned.
There was nothing to fear, he thought and so accepted her offer only to find himself nearly undressed in the next minute. Faith's grin grew as Giles blushed. "I always win with the right motivation. I knew B was wrong not to be hitting your bones."
"I beg your pardon!"
Her grin continued to grow. "And I knew you'd look better with your clothes off. Tweed's not really your style is it, Ripper? You'd be better in leather, but nothing beats naked." She took his Queen. "Now drop 'em." What followed were the most humiliating and exhilarating moments in Giles' life.
The End
