"Wadanohara?"

"Yes, Samekichi?"

"Will you stay forever?"

"Forever."

Worn out, Samekichi lay on the ground, eyes squeezed shut, his back against the cold, red wall. His breaths exhaled in a soft, yet careful manner, for fear of the large chain around his neck weighing down on his windpipe. His hands were tied behind him, so he couldn't do much other than simply lay there, on the dirt ground. Face scarred up, bruised, bleeding; basically beat up was how he spent most of his days. Barely any food (if Wadanohara fed him, of course, since Sal hated his guts), and never a chance to get the chains loosened up was how each day passed. He didn't even recognize what sleep was anymore. The lack of sleep and food for him at times caused him to hallucinate, usually starring Wadanohara, and it'd end up with the same sentence.

"Forever."

Footsteps were heard from the end of the hallway. Light giggling could be heard from her high-pitched voice. He disliked the way her voice sounded now, it seemed squeaky and selfish. He disliked the way she'd laugh at everything he said, how he'd touch her, how he'd confess his love for her. It disgusted him to no end.

At times, he wished for Sal to end his life already, but Wadanohara wanted him alive.

Samekichi did not bother to turn once the familiar voices were now against his cell. One was chuckling in a deep voice, and the other was giggling sweetly. His chest ached with her giggles. He'd remember of all the times he made her giggle, involuntarily most of the time, but it still brought a sense of content into him. But her giggling now, to his eternal suffering, hurt him as much as her saying, "I love you, too, Sal…"

"Hey," Sal called out, slamming onto the bars loudly with a metal pole. "You still alive, scum?"

Samekichi buried his face into his tattered shirt as much as he could to avoid them. He knew that the Wadanohara giggling at that moment was not the actual one, and that she was actually, being manipulated by Sal. But he was weak. His heart made him weak. If he looked at her, he'd start to beg for her to snap out of it.

"Can I kill him, babe?" Sal asked, more of a taunt to Samekichi. His arm wrapped around her small waist, pulling her close to his body. His hand made no hesitation to trail down her frail body.

"No," she purred back, giggling. "I want him alive, because I love Samekichi."

"Love? But you love me, Wadda!~"

The girl's red eyes gleamed at the body on the ground. "Yes, but I love you more.~ I want him alive… forever!"

Sal scoffed at Samekichi's body, turning away from his cell and tugging at Wadanohara's small hand. "Come, my love, let's go make love!~"

As their footsteps began to fade, the shark once again, felt the wet tears that streamed down his face, chest filled with pain as her words continued to repeat in his mind in an endless repetition.

"Forever!"

How he wish he could be dead.
