Life After Death
Written by H. Graham
He tipped the bottle. One, two, three, four, and five... Slowly, all twenty pills filled his palm and sat heavy there. He had forgotten the feel of the razor. Slowly, he walked to the open bathroom door that called him off his bed. He shaking turned on the light and set the empty pill bottom on the counter. He filled a cup with water. He touched the class to his lips and let the cool water flow over his tongue. One, two, three, four, and five. Slowly, the pills plopped into the water until all twenty floated on the surface. He pushed the handle and watched as they all swirled down.
"Sasuke?" light footsteps echoed in his room.
"In here," he responded from the master bathroom.
As the water started to refill the bowl, a beautiful girl stood at the door.
"What are you doing?"
"I found my old pills."
"What happened to them?" she asked, not knowing what happened in the seconds before.
"Gone, away, never to be seen again," he smiled a smile that seemed to reach his ears, "now hand me that baby," he stretched his arms out for his daughter.

Hello, thanks reading!
This was originally an assignment my friend did for her creative writing class. I really liked it, and wanted to share it with others, so here it is. I would love to give her some feedback of what you thought of it.
Thanks again. Have a nice day/night!
