Willow awoke feeling only slightly puzzled and soon was smiling. She was no Harry Potter, whose role she'd played in her fantasy. She had relived the moment in the first book of the famous series when Harry and his friends fought on a giant chess board. The world didn't depend on her to save it; nor did the role fall solely to her best friend, despite her Slayer status. Neither of them were alone and never would be. Like Harry, Buffy had Willow and Xander, but then, too, they had Giles. The four of them would never abandon each other.
