A/N: I don't really know why I wrote this. It just kind of popped into my mind. It's a poem from Hige's point of view, directed mostly at Kiba. He 'talks' to Tsume a little too. This is based in the last episode. This is not boyxboy or anything gross like that, it's just some thoughts of Hige's as he dying. It's a freeverse poem. I'm planning on making poems for Blue, Tsume, Toboe, and Kiba too. It's kind of lame...but I tried. I rated it 'T' because my other stories are rated T. There's no real violence or anything like that. Reviews are welcome.

I don't understand you at all, you know.
You're a wolf like me, but you're different somehow.
You act different, smell different, look different too…
Even so, we all respect you.
You're a natural leader, all of us see it.
We don't know why you always deny it.
You're the White Wolf, the 'Chosen One'…
Who decided all this, anyway?
Beneath our paws, the world is dying.
Us wolves know it and our spirits are crying.
The one place we seek is the hardest to find.
Paradise…To get there, we need you.
You are the one that has to survive.
You are the one that must stay alive.
But then there's the other, who's equally needed;
The Flower Maiden, Cheza, must be at your side.
The world is dying, so are the humans,
And even if the rest of us fall and perish
It's Cheza and you that must fight to the end.
The White Wolf, the Flower Maiden.
Together you will open the doors to Paradise,
Together you will lead the wolves home.

Now get out of here, Kiba, go rescue Cheza.

There's a short burst of pain, then it fades away,
