I'm working on my other fan fictions, I promise!

Oh, by the way, I have nothing against English class! To tell you the truth, I enjoy it! So don't get the wrong idea! ^_^"

"A noun is a person, place, or thing. An example is…"

Edward mentally groaned. He hated English class. He had a plenty fine vocabulary, he read well, and he could talk.

What was the point of listening to a teacher drone on and on about the same thing EVERY year?

A noun is this, an adjective that, this is the proper punctuation, an example is _____.

WHO CARES?! Was the look written all over his face until the teacher glanced his way.

He glanced around the room and spotted Winry. He pulled a piece of paper out of his notebook and quickly wrote something down on it. Not making a sound, he craftily folded the paper and handed it to the boy to his left.

This wasn't anything new, not to mention it put a thrill into a boring class. This had been going on for some time now, so everybody who needed to know knew how the system worked.

Jimmy, who sat at Edward's left, passed it to Karla. Karla slipped it to Tracy, who sat in front of her. Tracy passed it to his left, where it was in James' possession. James gave it to Mellissa, who slipped it into Winry's hand under the desk.

Winry smirked. Silently slipping the piece of paper open, she read what it said.

This is getting annoying. -_- (Me: Zom Gosh, it's the closest thing to IMing! Faces and everything!)

She gave a puzzled look and wrote: What is? O_O"

The system went backwards and the piece of paper reached Ed once again. He read what she had said. He pressed his pen to the paper and began moving it.

Why do the teachers always say the same thing every year in this class?

When it reached her, Winry smiled.

I don't know. Maybe they ran out of things to teach. =)

Ed smirked.

Wouldn't surprise me. They probably got tired of making up something so boring and moved on to things more interesting, like science. ^_^

Or health~

Yeah. So what do you wanna talk about?

I don't know. It's your turn, anyway.

Really?! I thought I did yesterday.

Nope, I did.

What were we talking about yesterday? O_O"

I don't know, but I thought it up.

=D Okay, okay, fine. Uhm…Oh! Didn't Granny say she was making stew tonight?

-_- Yes, Ed. She is. I promise she'll feed that bottomless pit of yours.

Yay~ Hey! I'm not bottomless! I get full eventually.

EVENTUALLY!

Well…

Whatever. C= What do you want to talk about?

It's your turn now~ ^_^

Oh, I hate it when you do that.

XD

Winry was about to bring her pen down on the paper when she heard the bell ring. She folded it up and stuck it in her pocket before the teacher noticed it. She packed her things and walked out of the class room, Ed at her heels. Alphonse joined the two soon afterward from his Year Three class and they all walked home together, chattering just as a group of childhood friends would.

Ah, childhood. Winry slipped the old piece of paper bag in her scrapbook and slid it back on the top shelf. I really miss the way it was back then.

And there you have it, folks! A cute, harmless memory of Winry! By the way, this will kind of tie into War's Fever soon. ^_^ It is still kinda cute, you have to admit it.
