The Dragon Coaster comes to Yoshi Park and Yoshi is tall enough to ride. Can he ride it for the first time?
It's a beautiful day in Yoshi's Island because today is the grand opening of the Dragon Coaster in Yoshi Park. Yoshi is so excited to be the first rider on the coaster.
"I'm going to ride the coaster today and it's my favorite ride!" Yoshi said as he walked to Yoshi Park.
When he got to the park, he was excited to see the Dragon Coaster up close. "Wow, the Dragon Coaster!" Yoshi said. "I can't wait to ride it."
"Welcome to the Dragon Coaster." The ride operator said, "Who wants to ride today?"
Yoshi said to him, "I will!"
The ride operator told him, "You're Yoshi from Yoshi's Island?"
"Yes!" Yoshi replied.
"Well, congratulations! You are the first person who is going to ride on the coaster today!"
"I am?" Yoshi asked.
The operator replied, "You are and the first ride is free just for you!"
Yoshi got excited and asked him, "Where do I sit?"
"On the driver's seat, Yoshi and it has your name on it!" the operator told him, "Now, get in and don't forget to keep your hands and feet inside the car at all times."
Yoshi thanked him and off he went to ride the coaster for the first time.
"Are you ready?" the operator asked.
Yoshi replied, "Yes, I'm ready to ride. Push the button!"
"OK Yoshi, enjoy the ride!" the operator said as he pushed the button to start the ride.
The coaster went up, up, up and up some more until it reaches the top of the hill.
As the coaster reached the top of the first hill, he can see the entire island. "Wow I can see my friends from up here and I can see Yoshi Circuit, too. I better hold on tight because here comes the first drop right now." Yoshi said.
Just then, the coaster went down the first drop. Yoshi screamed with excitement, "Yoshi!!!"
The ride continues across the track and Yoshi loved it as the coaster entered the dragon's head.
"Wow!" Yoshi said, "This is great!!"
As the ride goes faster, so does Yoshi's heart beat. "This is amazing!"
The ride ended and Yoshi got off and said, "That was amazing! I can't wait to ride again!"
"If you want, you can ride again right now." the operator said.
Yoshi thought and asked him, "I can ride again right now?"
The operator replied, "Yes! You can ride again anytime you like!"
"Let's do it!" Yoshi proclaimed as enters the driver's seat again.
"Here we go!" the operator said as he pushed the button.
The coaster went up, up, and then back down as the story ends with one final scream from Yoshi, "Yoshi!!!"
