On one of those times where the Sand Siblings visit the Hidden Leaf Village, Konoha, Temari found Shikamaru playing Go. She marched up to him and sat down. He barely looked up. She grunted; how annoying!
"Hello there Temari." He said finally.
"Took you long enough, but hello." She said flatly. "I'll have you know that I've liked you for awhile now, but you're irritating and lazy."
Shikamaru smiled. "I like you too." He said it without much emotion and rather boredly. There was an awkward pause. Temari inwardly screamed.
"Don't you get it?" she yelled. Shikamaru glanced up.
"Get wha-?" he didn't get to finish before Temari grabbed him by his Chuunin vest and kissed him. She released him, stood up, and walked away. "What was that all about?" he asked himself in disbelief. Women were troublesome.
