Hello everyone! Val here with an announcement and some updates.
First off, I want to say I'm sooo sorry to anyone who is following this story. I dropped it when I started college and didn't, couldn't, pick it back up when I graduated. I was in a very, very bad way up until my 22nd birthday last January. I was in a severe depressional slump, I fought with my mother more often than not, I ran the risk of getting kicked out of the house and disowned, and I contemplated self-harm and suicide due to unemployment. Needless to say, I was not in the right state of mind to write a fanfiction story.
However! I recently got a new job as a security officer and I can say I've never been happier! Now that I've gotten more used to my new job and my depression and anxiety is significantly down I can safely say that I'm more than ready to come back to this story! I've already been working on future scenes with my co-writer and ex, HateLoveandByakugan, and since I've been drawing for the past few months I've been working on weapon designs and character sheets for references.
Another reason why I stopped working on the story was because, before I started college, I didn't like the way it was going. I also didn't have any plans for it! I had no plot, no ideas on what to do. Since then I've taken some creative writing classes in college and other intensive writing courses. I feel more prepared now to write a suitable story. I've even been brainstorming with my co-writer on ideas and he is already in the process of writing future scenes.
BE AWARE! I have been contemplating the story for a while. I am now an adult and while I started this story when I was a teenager in high school based off of a short RP I have been seriously tossing around the idea of adding some more...adult scenes. This includes sexual interactions, suicidal thoughts, intense gore, and self-harm to name a few. This may be Kingdom Hearts but the main characters are not Disney characters. I will put warnings at the beginning of the chapters as needed so if any of this makes you uncomfortable you may skip and message me asking for a rough summary of the more plot-oriented details. I do not mind!
I cannot say for sure when I will have the revisions of already existing chapters done, but I will post a poll on my page. Would you prefer to wait until most or all of the story is complete for me to post chapters or should I post them as I finish them?
I believe that is all I have for now. I will start writing chapters as soon as I can. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to message me!
