A gentle breeze blew heavy fog across the headstone that gleamed deadly in the rising moon.
Sayo breathed deeply; inhaling the scent of decay and desperation.
So many of these helpless souls died without consent. Sayo laughed lightly, the wind carrying her voice across the tombs. If only they knew what lay beyond the grave.
The sickly sweet inferno that consumes the damned fir an everlasting eternity. How the demons whips lick and lash at your forgotten soul with pleasure,laughing as you scream. Oh yea... Sayo knew her immortality came with a heavy price. Twenty upon twenty thousand years of of relenting torture all...undoubtedly worth it all. To spend everyday forever watching others rot... Feeling their deaths...causing their pain. Ripping, cleaving flesh from bone; consuming their blood, decimating them; while healing herself.A sick grin made its way across her face as she dropped another limp body onto the blood soaked grass.
Only fitting...killing in a grave yard. Licking the blood from her lip, Sayo stood up.
"I can hear you" She said without turning. "Why hide" She laughed breathlessly. "I will find you" She heard the grass rustle behind her. Moving with the mechanic perfection. Sayo reached under her right arm, catching his wrist before turning to face him.
He smiled, deep brown eyes sparkling mischievously as he pulled his hand from her grip.
"On edge?" He questioned.
She moved quickly pinning him to the ground. Smiling, She answered "Maybe." She cocked her head "Or Maybe a certain canine has me on edge."
He laughed. With almost no effort Sayo was lifted and pinned to the ground.
"Now why in the world would I have you on edge?" he questioned with mock intensity. "Do I perhaps...make you nervous?"
"Did I say you did? Did I say 'Akira is the reason I'm on edge'?"
"Yes you did" he answered nodding.
"When?"
"Just now." He smiled playfully.
Sayo rolled her eyes and lifter herself from under Akira. "What're you doing out here?" She asked
"I Could ask you the same couldn't I?"
Moving quickly, Akira gripped Sayo's shoulders and pinned her back to the ground. He sat on her stomach, on leg on either side of her hips. A light smile worked its way onto Sayo's reddened lips.
"Is the great Sayo Ryder blushing?" Sayo jerked her arm up, covering her face. Akira's laughter echoed in he silent cemetery.
A low growl began in Sayo's throat as she to throw Akira off, he stayed on top with no trouble his lips inches from hers, Akira growled deep and loud.
Through his growls he said:
"You think your stronger than me? Are fuckin' serious"
He pushed harder on her shoulders, making Sayo's growl stop with a high pitched yelp. Akira, satisfied, released her shoulders letting his hands drop gently to her hips. Then let them off to the bloody ground next to her.
He pushed himself up and diapered in to the forest.
Sayo stood up and sighed: "Do we really have to go through this?" No answer came but Sayo knew what he was doing.
Sayo shot into the wooded area. When she stopped she saw ruffles in the grass and then a pair of glowing red eyes.
"You've transformed haven't you?" She heard a low growl and the wolf stood up. His fur was black and grey, his ears had piercings and his tail was long.
The wolf; well Akira turned around and knelt down and Sayo climbed upon his back.
"Hold on" His voice came out deep and rough. Akira took off running.
'His speed and strength are incredible, I'm happy he is mine...He is also a handsome *giggle* I'm happy he is mine' She thought as she nestled deeper into his fur.
Soon after an half an hour of of running the copuple stopped.
"Where are we?" Sayo asked
Akira turned to his human form. "We are in europe, My mother is buried here and she was born on this day. How come you always forget?" He concerned then mad when he asked.
"Akiiii...I never try to forget on purpose" Sayo whined out
Akira noted that there was a slight blush on her face. "She is so cute when she blushes!" The wolf thought as her watched her: her blush faded and a small smile appear.
"Come on, we need to get a move on things." Akira started walking; Sayo tailed right behind the boy.

We soon reached my mothers grave. I felt a little uneasy, something wasn't sitting right in the air with my nose. I examined the surroundings-
"Whats wrong Akira?" I looked down at Sayo: It's nothing. I just felt a little uneasy...come, sit with me." We both sat around my mothers grave. I sat some flowers, lit some candles and we said a silent prayer which was soon interrupted.
I felt a sharp pain in my In my back and upper set of abs. I looked down to see a silver tipped arrow sticking out of my stomach. I looked to Sayo. Her mouth sat agape. She thought i was shot in the heart, Luckily whoever shot me had a bad shot.

I opened my eyes, linking back tears. When Aki stood back up i Reached for his hand. His familiar warmth calmed me. The wind shifted slightly and i smelled he sharp sting of swear. Turning to Aki i saw silver glinting in his abdomen. My mouth fell open as blood began to drip out. A violent growl came from him as he pulled the arrow through.
"Aki" I called out in a low voice. He looked down to me with a very grey expression. Before i could grab him he bolted in to the velvet forest. I could hear the cracking of his bones, he was changing to his wolf form.

Sayo ran after Akira with unbelievable speed. Sayo however couldn't keep up n matter how much she tired. Within seconds Akira as swallowed by the velvet void of a forest and Sayo stopped. Running blindly into unknown territory wasn't something she was foolish enough to do. Sayo closed her eyes; letting her other senses take control. She heard the foot fall of at least two others, not including Akira's rampaging steps. As she listened, Sayo inhaled in an attempt to pick up their scent on the air

It was a dumb idea and i was fully aware but Aki needed to know what he's up against. He was running i a generally northern direction and I followed. A race of undead or worse, a Hybrid, was hunting him and I was determined to get to them before they got to him, very clever strategy I must say. Bringing a filthy human to mask your own, non-existent scent. No heartbeat of your own. I nodded to myself, I must use that sometime. I heard Aki's howl, a deep ragged noise(if even possible) ran faster. "There are too many trees in this fucking forest." I thought and gave myself an idea. Climbing a tall redwood I was able to find a Much faster path jumping through the treetops. Ahead of me I could see Aki-sama standing in a tree surrounded cleaning his body fully transformed. His back was tensed and he was waiting for the attack.
"Ready to beat the shit out of someone" I thought with a smirk. I stood with one hand gripping a branch for balance and looked for the attackers.
Hidden in the saplings below me were two fighters. A woman, obviously the human, was shaking uncontrollably and the other, a male, was as unmoving and silent as a stone. The human lost balance and feel out of her hiding. Aki reacted instantly, lunging at the vulnerable prey.

I wasted no time when that miserable human exposed herself. I lunged forward, on all fours, and sank my jaws into her throat. She was dead before she could scream. Her blood, warm and metallic filled my mouth and covered the ground. A low, Sadistic laugh filled the air...but it wasn't mines.
I looked up, eyes wide, and found myself looking into another pair, blue as crystal and full of blood-lust.
"Hello Alpha" he said, Bright fangs flashing as he spoke.
'Dammit! I didn't expect this!' I thought. The vampire lept forward just as i lept back. My back arched as I prepared to attack. Sayo however, Beat me to it. She dropped from a tree above us and landed; Her legs gripping the vampires neck. Using all her of weight and force Sayo flipped both herself and the other vampire backwards.
At the last moment Sayo let go of the other vampire, sending him flying while she landed simply on her feet. The other vampire was disoriented for less than two seconds. He landed hard, his legs pushing deep into the side of an oak. He pushed off using all of his force and came at Sayo with a roundhouse kick. he clipped her jaw ad sent her flying. She was out cold. It made me snap. He had hurt her. The woman i loved was hurt. I could feel the rage boiling in my veins. "I dont know who you are," I said in a deep murderous growl. "But if it is the last thing I do, I will make you pay. YOU BASTARD!"

Akira's head cocked to the side and he started to twitch. The vampire then looked to the boy.
"Oooooohhhh so she, being hurt, makes you tick." The arrogant vampire thought it would make Akira very vulnerable, he was gravely mistaken.
The vampire lunged at Akira and tried to deliver a round house kick. To his dismay Akira deflected without moving an inch from where he stood and returned, fully loaded, punch to the left side of the vampires ribcage. The vampire went flying into a tree and the second he hit the ground the Akira was right on top of him.
"You think you can hurt her and get away with it?" Akira growled out as he shoved his right paw, nails first, into the vampires stomach, tearing through the vampires organs and griped his spine. "Now, Tell me your name" Akira demanded. "My *cough* my name is Kenshi" Akira chuckled. " What gave you the idea of coming after me?" The werewolf questioned. After a minute he saw that the vampire wasn't going to speak. He decided to end it there. Akira ripped the vampires spine out and crushed it in his palms to ash just as the rest of his body turned completely to ash.

After I ripped out his spine and his body turned to ash I walked over to Sayo. She laid there motionless. I couldn't take seeing her like that. I covered her body with mines and started to howl. The second I stopped I felt her cold hand reach up an touch my fur. I looked down to her. She had a red mark on her face where she was hit. I started to change back. She put her hand on my face: "Aki...I'm sorry..."I cut her off; No im the one who should be saying sorry." I felt tears filling my eyes. I felt as if it was my fault. I should have been more...aware. If i had been she wouldn't have been hurt. She looked at me with a puzzled look on her face. I stood up and transformed again.

When Aki transformed he took off. I was confused. Why did he cry. I tried to smile bit the spot where I got hit, the pain was sharp. When I turned to where he took off I was face to face with him again. My brow furrowed in further confusions i asked "Where...Did, you just go Aki?" He cupped my face with his furry palm and answered. "There is a group of hybrids, not like me, werewolves near by. My howl alerted them. They are willing to help you but I dont think they know I'm an Alpha," He smiled softly. "You'll be okay, my little vampire" I nodded sleepily. As my eyelids began to droop I felt Aki lift me, Hooking his arms under my back and legs. He held me close as we moved. His heat warming me to the core. His scent lulling me into a sense of security. I faded onto a slumber as I whispered; "I...Love you..."
