Just the afterthoughts of a completely pointless argument in which feelings were hurt, hearts were broken, and lives were shattered.
Her tearstained face went unnoticed by everyone.
Those tears of pain and sorrow,
Finally coming out after years of torture.
No one could ever fathom how that young girl felt,
As she lay every night, drowning in her thoughts.
Her father did not love her,
Her sisters and brothers did not care,
And her mother was disappointed.
She was a failure in life,
Not living up to anyone's expectations.
Her father wanted her to be wealthy and in high standing,
Her siblings wanted her to buy things they wanted,
Her mother wanted her to be perfect.
But none these she became,
She became a doctor.
One who listened and gave advice to those who need it most.
She became one with the people,
She was there when the people needed her,
And still there when they did not need her.
People looked to her for advice and called upon her only when they needed something.
Nobody realized how much she meant until the day she died.
She was killed in a tragic car accident, the other person drunk and sent to jail.
Her tears were finally noticed at her funeral,
When everyone realized what a treasure they had lost.
Ten years later, on the poor girls would have been birthday,
An organization was opened in her loving memory.
A place where people could go to talk about their feelings and what they meant.
Everyone was happy,
Everyone was sound.
But no one would ever forget that one special person that had changed their world.
