Reno x Tifa
The wind was rushing past her ears and hair as she grabbed tightly around his waist. His long, red mullet was flowing around in the wind and batted against her chest several times. The motorcycle seat was starting to get a little uncomfortable. The night sky was starting to turn dark blue and she was getting worried. Peering over the side of his shoulder, Tifa got a glance at the speed meter; 100 mph. Slowly, she took a deep breath and spoke; "Reno; slow down. I'm scared...!"
He gave her a grin, "Heh, don't worry Teef's, this is fun!"
"N-No it's not. Please, I'm scared."
He hesitated. "...Then tell me you love me."
She hesitated "...I love you. Now slow down!"
"I love you too," Reno smiled, "Now gimme a big hug!"
She wrapped her arms around him again and felt the warmth around him, the sweet scent of him whenever he was around, the protection that he gives out.
"Eh, Teef's... Can you take off my helmet and put it on yourself? It's bothering me."
In the newspaper the next day, a motorcycle had crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on it and only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, he realized his break wasn't working, but he didn't want her to know. Instead, he had her hug him and tell him one last time that she loved him. Then he had her put on his helmet so that she would live, even if he didn't.
