Well, I know that I didn't get up to post more than the warnings in my first fanfic. I was really into that story and tried writing the prologue many times, but it just didn't come out right. I finally concluded that my writing skills just didn't match the tone I wanted. English is my my second language, and while I can read well, writing is very, very different. So I decided to write a short story first to practice my writing skills, and then restart on my first fanfic. Thanks to those of you who reviewed or sent messages!

This is an idea I got from a Korean or Chinese website a few months ago, and I can't really remember where it was. I can read both a bit, but didn't sign up for the website so I can't direct you to the source. The story was about a Harry Potter fan waking up one day as Gilderoy Lockhart. It was a crack fic, with other characters misinterpreting Lockhart's actions and thinking that he was a true hero, whereas Lockhart was absolutely panicking inside.

If any of you know the name of this story, please let me know and I'll post it as where I got my inspiration from! Other than a muggle waking up as Gilderoy Lockhart, the rest are my imagination, although there might be some contents from other novels. I read so many novels in the past few years that everything got mixed up – so if you find any contents that you think is from another story, let me know and I'll look it up!

This is the first time I am writing anything longer than a few pages, so please bear that in mind as well as the fact that I'm not very fluent in English! If you find any typos or grammar mistakes, please point it out and I'll fix it :) Well, not on with the story!

Pairings: The Other Harry Potter (a.k.a. Hadrian Black from another dimension, a.k.a. Gilderoy Lockhart) & ? (haven't decided whether there will be any romance at all, and even if there is, it would be small)

Rating: Rated M for safety. (Murder, manipulation, etc.) There will not be any explicit scenes in this fic, so if you don't like stories without lemon, don't read it.

Warnings: Canon Harry Potter will not be an important character. (His counterpart will be.) Mainly deals with Freaked Out!Pissed Off!Panicking!Gilderoy Lockhart.
