I die

The dead have risen
They are here
And now comes the moment
My death is near
It is inevitable
As they say
A bite will turn me
So now I pray
Soon I shall walk
Through the valley of death
Will I be afraid,
As I take my last breath?
My chest will rise
And then it will fall
My life will cease
That will be all
Blood pours out of me
Oh so red
I'm feeling faint
It's the moment I dread
My eyes drift close
They're so heavy
It's my time to leave
But I'm not ready
My heart is weak
It's starting to slow
It's giving up
All is woe
A life so short
My end too fast
It will all be over
I'm living my last
But I'm not alone
I'm here with you
Please stay close
And tell me adieu
Sit here with me,
And say goodbye
Because finally now,
I die
