Inuyasha! Heart VS. Gut
"Kagome! Keep up. If you keep this up, I'm going to leave without you!"
"Calm down, Inuyasha! I'm riding as fast as I can! You try carrying a huge back-pack full of food and first-aid equipment, with Shippo in the basket in the front of a bike, AND wearing a skirt while trying to keep up with a super-fast wolf-demon!" Kagome snapped back.
"Woah there, Kagome! Geez. Bite my flippin head off, why don't you?" He through her a surprised look.
"Sorry." She looked ashamed. "I don't mean to be rude."
"It's alright. I'm not angry."
Suddenly, Kagome stopped. She closed her eyes, as if she was trying to see something. Something that wasn't there.
"Jewel shards. A whole lot of them! It's hard to tell where they are comming from, though. There are too many."
"Oh crap. Stand back, Kagome. You too, Shippo."
"Inuyasha? What is it?"
"It's Shesshomaru"
Sure enough. Shesshomaru, Inuyasha's brother, suddenly appeared in the middle of the field.
"Inuyasha. It's nice to see you and your pathetic human friend." He got a strange look on his face. Like he was planning something. Then he looked straight at Kagome. Suddenly she got major chills down her back.
"Inuyasha! Hes got about ten Shikon jewel shards in his right hand! They are not part of him, he is only holding them! Hurry, try to get them out!"
"I'm already on it!" Inuyasha jumped high into the air with a smirk on his face. "Let's see how much you like this, Shesshomaru! Transform, Tetsusaiga!!!"
"Pitiful fool. Your rusty metal stick cannot harm me. Besides, Am I the real enimy?" He opened his hand and showed shards of the Shikon jewel. Then, one by one, he darted them. But at who?
"What are you aiming for? There is nothing over there but rocks and field!" Then Inuyasha remembered. That was where he told Kagome and Shippo to hide. "Kagome!!! Run!"
Kagome peeked her head out from behind the rock.
"What?"
But it was too late. Ten tiny, sharp shards went flying into Kagome's chest.
"Kagome!!!! Are you alright?"
"It's no use, Inuyasha. The pathetic human had no chance. She works for me now, and you cannot bring her back. Unless, of course, you destroy her."
