*A/N Okay. First story. Wanted to make it a one shot, try my hand at writing. I dreamt this up while I was reading Breaking Dawn, and just had to write it down.*
*Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight. Go bug Stephanie Meyer.
It's funny how the most insignificant decisions can change the future.
Bella and Edward. A wonderful pair. The cutest couple I'd ever seen. They had been through a lot. First, James nearly killed my soon to be sister. Then, we left, by request of Edward after my Jasper tried to attack his soul mate. That I still couldn't really understand. Bella, stupid, and human, attempted to get… 'thrills' and jumped off a damned cliff, causing Edward to attempt his own 'thrills'. I still think it was suicide. Then! The worst was yet to come. Victoria built up an army of newborns to kill Bella, failing miserably. Edward and Bella got married. I was so excited that I got to plan their wedding! Then, they went off on their honeymoon. Bella got pregnant and they were rewarded with the most beautiful baby girl. Which brought on a whole new bought of problems. I smiled at all those memories.
"Alice." Jasper brought me out of my reverie. I opened my eyes to see his worried golden ones.
"What?" I asked quietly. "What's happened?"
"You were in that little vision of yours for a long time. It's nearly time for the game!" Jasper chuckled deeply. Emmet came in with Rosalie.
"Hey! You guy's ready?" he rumbled. Rosalie rolled her eyes.
"Come on Alice. Let's go upstairs where we can get away from Konan the Barbarian." Rosalie said with sarcasm in her voice. I looked around. We were in our home in Rhode Island.
"What the…?" I screeched, jumping up. "What's going on!" I asked quickly. "Where's Bella?" I looked around. I got nothing but utter confusion. Nothing! "Where's Bella! Renesme!" I blinked. Still no recognition.
"Alice." Jasper said, standing up, and taking my face between his hands. "Alice, what are you talking about. Who is Bella?"
"But… I… she. Edward. What the hell!" I screeched again. "What day is it!" I asked, putting my hands on my hips.
"It's the twentieth. Of July." My mouth dropped open. It couldn't be!
"What year?" I felt my hands shaking slightly.
"1987." Jasper chuckled nervously, rubbing my arm soothingly. "Alice. What did you see?" Jasper asked quietly, trying to calm me down. The twentieth of July 1987. I remember Bella telling me that date. It was the day her parents had gotten married… I didn't know if it was his power, or me just feeling relived, but I sighed and sunk into the couch cushions. Edward, Carlisle, and Esme walked through the door several minutes after the game started.
"So. What happened while we were away?" Carlisle asked in a conversational tone. I looked and smiled at Edward.
"Never change dear brother." I grinned. I didn't care if everyone looked at me weird. I was content with keeping the existence of Isabella Marie Swan to myself until the fateful day Edward saved her from being crushed by a car…
"Who the hell is that?" I heard Edward asked from his room.
"Shoot…" I whispered to myself, and busied my mind with the score. It was going to be a long eighteen years.
*A/N: How'd you like it? Yeah. I know. I was just thinking about Alice and her visions, and I thought it would be kind of cool if she had just had a vision of the whole series. Then, she would have had to suffer for eighteen years while Bella was born, and grew up, and finally met Edward. But the future is so unpredictable, anything could happen… but I'm pretty sure it would end up the same way.
Thanks for reading.
To all of those who write out there; Keep writing.
To all of those who don't; keep reading.
And to those who have nothing better to do than sit on the internet all day; get a life.
