After playing Kingdom Hearts II I decided to write my take of the letter at the end. Enjoy!
Thinking of you, where ever you are.
This whole time you've been gone, I've been having these weird thoughts lately.
Everything seems like a scattered dream that's like a far off memory, teetering on the edge of nothing.
People keep saying that darkness is the heart's true essence, but, for some reason, I don't believe that.
I want to line the pieces up, your and mine.
Lining up the pieces won't be so hard.
It'll be just like starting a new journey, and who knows?
Maybe, that journey has all ready begun.
There are many worlds, but they share the same sky.
One sky, one destiny.
My hope, is that we all come to realize that darkness is only half of the world.
Darkness can't exist without light, nor can light exist without the darkness.
Time is short.
We understand so little about these coexisting forces that weave in and out of our daily lives.
We're all that's left…or maybe we're all that ever was.
Either way, I will step forward to realize this wish.
We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope our hearts will blend.
Blend with what?
I cannot say, but what I can say, is that the heart's true essence isn't darkness.
I know now, that the heart's true essence, is light.
