Disclaimer: The character "Raven" was not my creation, however, this poem is. Please read it and tell me what you think. If you don't think it's dark enough, well, Raven isn't always a dark person. Trying not to show emotion isn't dark.
A/N: Please review it and tell me what you think. If you wonder who Raven is talking to, it's the water surrounding Titan Tower (or is it Titans Tower...you know, I forget).
Reflection in Water:
I sit on the rocks and stare at the water
I gaze at the calm surface and see my reflection
The stillness breaks at the first touch of the hand
So familiar we are
So similar we are
You always seem tranquil
Yet you have a rage that makes them quake in fear
A rage that hurts them
A rage that kills them
All with no mercy
When we think the storm will last forever
You resume your peacefulness yet again
Was your father the malevolent dark cloud?
Was your mother the innocent rain?
I know you are isolated
And you feel enveloped in the darkness in the depths of you
You wish it would leave
I know and you know the darkness will stay there
I stare not at my reflection
I stare at my soul
