The night was humid. That old lady who nearly got thrown from that train might even say that the night was sultry. I found myself in a place consisting of nothingness. There was fog everywhere. It was dark, lonely, and humid, for some reason. I was approached by a figure wearing a dark hood and cape. I couldn't quite make out his face. He looked like the grim reaper, but I don't think he was. I don't really know who or what he was. As he got closer, he held out his hand. He was wearing gloves. His face appeared to be white, but it was hard to tell under that hood, in all this darkness, and fog. His voice was clear, yet creepy, and left me with an uneasy feeling.

"Your fate has been decided. Come with me." What? Where? Who the fuck is this guy? Should I go with him? Well, I might as well. I have nowhere else to go. Right?

We walked, and walked, for what seemed like an eternity. It was quite peaceful, though. I felt like I could actually do this for all of eternity. Or, maybe not. I'm sure I would eventually get bored.

After some time had passed I finally worked up the courage to ask him, "so, where are we going, anyway?"

He looked down at me, with a sinister, and quite creepy looking grin. "A place where you will feel quite at home. A place where you can unleash your imagination, and share it with others...A place full of literature."

Literature? That didn't sound so bad, did it? I mean, I suppose I would like to do other things, but if all I did was read, I can't say I would have much to complain about. Reading wasn't such a terrible thing. At least it was better than being out here. Wherever here is.

As the fog cleared, I could make out what looked like an entrance. As we got closer, I realized where we were, and went into a horrible state of fear and panic. No, this can't be right. This is wrong. This is horrible. This can't be the place. Please don't let this be the place. I looked at the being who escorted me to this place. He looked right back with an even wider grin. This is bad, this is really bad. I need to get the fuck out of here, now. Right now. I need to get out of here, now! I looked the other way, and made a run for it. Without warning, my leg was grabbed, causing me to fall over to the ground. I found myself being dragged the opposite direction I was trying to flee.

Desperately clawing at the ground, I screamed, "No! You can't do this to me! I won't go in there! You can't make me! Please! Stop! I don't want to go in there! Please! Don't do this to me!" I continued screaming, crying, begging and pleading, while being dragged against my own will. But it was hopeless. Having fought and struggled I eventually ran out of strength, and found myself inside. The entrance was still open. With the little amount of strength I had left, I tried to make another run for it. The entrance doors slammed shut in my face.

I was trapped. I had no way of escaping. This was my fate. Such a cruel fate. The figure, still standing by the entrance, gave his usual grin. At that point, it only filled me with anger. I gave him a glare of death, ignoring the tears running down my face. He stared right back at me, with glee in his eyes. He then gave his final words before vanishing into thin air.
