A/N: Hello, this story is basically nine years post-Hogwarts-Battle. Luna and Neville are married (Hooray!) and well, you will find out rest soon enough... and oh oh, the whole story is just one sentence basically.

Disclaimer: Owns nothing but wishes he did. Meh.

Well, enjoy and review please!

Luna couldn't sleep lately with the adamant whizzing sounds Neville made, from low grumblings to occasional high-pitched screams that woke her up against his chest or her head resting in his arm, and she would soothe him by caressing his cheek but sadly she couldn't be with him everywhere; just yesterday, Tobby, their eight-year-old son, had come running towards her telling her to come see Daddy who was having a fit after seeing a snake in the backyard; Nagini, she had thought, the snake still haunted him after nine years, begging a different conclusion, begging him to be the one to die, to be gulped into her stomach and Neville always woke up in cold sweat and pleaded with Luna to save him and take him away and Luna could only caress and comfort him and hurt inside at the man that fate had broken beyond repair, the man that still felt the ache of his parents that were like sleep to an insomniac, just out of the grasp; Luna couldn't shake off the image of the young chubby Neville with his stupid toad, Trevor, telling her that she looked cool or reading Quibbler with her during lazy afternoons, and she couldn't remember falling in love with him, or remember feeling that she could love too; she could just remember kissing him after the war and marrying him with the oddest guests any wedding had witnessed; Luna smiled as she looked at the unusually quiet Neville in his sleep, and Luna remembered the lake they had gone to just a week ago for fishing, with all of them wearing matching octopus-printed shirts and Ruby, their five-year-old daughter, wearing a floral hat and seashell necklace around her waist and throwing buckets in the water to catch fishes when she couldn't handle the fishing rod and Tobby imitating his dad's action meticulously and blaming the bait for not being effective enough when he couldn't catch a fish but the happiness hadn't lasted long when Luna was bit by a keelback, a non-venomous snake, and Neville had just stared at the snake as Tobby and Ruby screamed for him to do something, he however just stared as Luna chased away the snake with a stick and bandaged the wound with her headband but that was the day the PTSD, posttraumatic stress disorder, had recurred in Neville and he hadn't slept soundly since; Luna unconsciously touched the wound that had healed completely and was shocked when Neville screamed and woke up in a fit-sate with his eyes wild with dread and his heart a thousand beats; he screamed again and again and Luna couldn't even approach him with all the thrashing and was afraid Tobby or Ruby would wake up but there was no stopping Neville who lay on the floor on his knees, with his hands covering his ears and begging for the hissing to stop; Luna forcefully clamped her hand on his mouth and patted his back as Neville started subduing; he is not even awake, Luna thought, as Neville slowly dozed off on the floor on his fours, however Luna couldn't sleep that night as she wondered if war ever really ended and seeing the broken armour in her hands, she had her answer.
