The paint was peeling off the walls in great big chunks. The various pictures hanging up on the walls were grotesque and dark. Some appeared to be almost burned in places, others appeared to be surreal, while even other looked like they had been painted using the entrails of dead victims.
A chandelier, bronze-colored and having lost its luster some time ago, swung back and forth with a creak.
A blood-red carpet, having seemingly been stained with various spilled fluids and apparently soggy in parts was unfurled across the floor and ran up the steps before continuing onto the second floor.
The oak-wood railing, having been splintered and broken, hung above by miraculously strong fibres, seemingly ready to let go at any moment.
The windows, filthy from years of misuse, appeared like eyes peering out into the world, albeit with cataracts. Tree branches outside thumped against and scratched at the windows like some possessed treant desperate to get in from the stormy weather outside.
Lightning FLASHED!
Thunder CRASHED!
And Barry Burton held up his trusty magnum, walking in slowly.
"Jill?" He called uncertainly. "Jill, are you in here?"
Nothing but thunderous lightning answered his call.
"Chris?" Barry called out. Nearly jumping at his own shadow.
Suddenly a door slammed shut on the second floor.
"Huh?! Wesker?!" Barry trained his gun on the second floor as something sauntered down the steps.
"Oh, it's you. You're the new S.T.A.R.S. Recruit aren't ya?" He lowered his gun.
Winnie the Pooh raised his hand in a curt wave.
Lightning struck, bathing the world inside the Sanderz Mansion.
And with that...
Pooh disappeared, junctioned with his Dark Firaga magic and Meteor Crash Deck Commands, and leaving a Pooh Stick lodged in the ground in his wake.
Barry walked over, picked up the stick in his hand, scratched at his forehead with the barrel of his magnum and said:
"What IS THIS?!"
But the Pooh Stick was infected with the T-virus and turned into a zombie.
Barry shot it three times with his one-shot-kill magnum.
But he missed the first two times and it didn't stay dead.
The End.
