Note: This fanfiction is based on Sonic's story of Sonic Adventure. I don't remember all the parts clearly, and not all the Tikal parts, so bare with me!! I'm also trying to go into more detail than the original game. Grab a fizzy drink, a bag of popcorn, and enjoy the fic! = )

It was a beautiful evening at my hometown, Station Square. I hadn't done much excercise in a while, so I decided to get some that night. I put on my running shoes, stepped out of my hotel and into the fresh air. I first zoomed part over the shoreline of Emerald Coast, and ran up a building tops. After I ran along the sides of some buildings and landed on top of the train station, a noise caught my attention. A bunch of police cars were rummaging down the street, and my hero instinct kicked in. So I ran alongside the building tops, and followed the cop cars to city hall. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw one of the strangest things I'd ever see in a lifetime. A liquid monster, you could see his brain, his eyes were bright, emerald green, he was larger thane me, and he had to scales on the back of his head. I decided to wait until a good time to run into the scene. The police ran out of their cars, all with machine guns. The monster jumped down from the roof and landed in front of the police who closed in on him.
"Freeze! You are completely surrounded!" said one of the police. "Ready, men? 3...2...1...FIRE!"
They all fired their machine guns multiple times, as the monster just stood there in his strange stance. Once the police ran out of bullets, they saw the bullets just floating around on the inside of the monster's body. They all alligned up and shot back at the police. 2 of them got hit.
"All personell fallback! Retreat!" said the sheriff.
They all took off in their cars and zoomed off, with their sirens turned on loud. Nothing was explained to me, so I'd best fight him, I thought. I jumped down and stared the monster in the eye. After a few moments, I smiled and thought how easy this would be.
The first attack tactic of his was charging after me. I just spindashed under his legs, and figured how his brain stood out, it was probably the most vulnerable part of his body. I then used an attack called "homing attack", that I learned from my dad at a family reunion. Anyway, when I did this, he went down into a puddle. He arose back from the puddle. His arms expanded and he chased after me. This was simple, all I did was homing attack his brain again. Finally, he jumped over the street lights, and threw his arms down at me. While he was doing this, I spindashed up a street light, jumped over and homing attacked him again. He stayed in a puddle for a few seconds. Then the puddle sunk down into a sewer. I wondered if he could get away or not. Meanwhile, I heard someone scream something at me, I looked up and saw a dark, egg-shaped figure, who ran off in the other direction. I figured it was probably just some geek. I went back to my hotel and to rest for my day at the day ahead of me, at the hotel's pool, and Emerald Coast. Little did I know, my adventure was just beginning......
