Hey guys/galls! This is just a random short Alvinette story, haha. I thought about it just randomly, so I wrote it on my iPod touch, haha. So anywayz…enjoy, and don't forget to review, pwetty pwease!
"Alvin, can you help me out here? Christine is getting into your CD collection." Jeanette yelled from the kitchen.
"But Jeannie, Hell's Kitchen is on."
"Sweetie, I know you love that show but I'm making dinner right now. So could you please help me out?"
Alvin sighed and got up from the couch. "Alright fine. I'll be there in a sec dear."
He walked into the kitchen and looked down at his two year old. "Christine, did you do this?"
"Maybe…" She looked down at her feet and swung her arms.
"Tell daddy the truth. Did you make this mess?" He put his hands on his hips.
"Yes daddy. I did it."
"Thank you, honey. You told the truth so I'm letting this one slide."
"Thanks daddy. I love you." She hugged his leg.
"Daddy loves you too."
"Aww, how adorable." Jeanette was standing in the doorway.
"Daddy says he's gonna let me slide."
"Oh really?" Jeanette looked over at Alvin.
"Yeah. He's gonna take us to the park. Right daddy?"
"I never said anything about the park."
"Yes you did."
"No I didn't."
"Yes you did."
"No…I didn't."
"Yes…you did."
"When did I mention the word 'park'?"
"Just now."
Jeanette couldn't help but giggle at her daughter.
"What's so funny momma?" Christine looked at her.
"Oh nothing, sweetie." She covered her mouth.
"If nothing's funny then why are you laughing at me?"
"I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing with you."
"But I'm not laughing."
"…Time for dinner!"
Christine ran into the dining room.
Alvin and Jeanette laughed at the previous conversations.
In the dining room:
"Nummy. I love spaghetti." Christine said as Alvin put her in her highchair.
"Spaghetti's good for you, too." Jeanette said as she sat down.
"Is it good for my hair?"
"Yes."
"My bones?"
"Yep."
"My…fingers?"
"Uh huh."
"Is…it…good for my…toes?"
"It's good for your toes too." Alvin said, shoving a bite into her mouth to shut her up.
"Nummy." She said with the bite still in her mouth.
"Christine, it's rude to talk with your mouth full." Jeanette scolded.
"I'm sowwy momma."
"It's okay. Just make sure you chew your food really well."
"Yes momma. I will."
After dinner:
"I'm sleepy daddy." Christine yawned.
"I think it's time for a certain two year old to go to bed." Alvin said as he picked her up.
"But…I wanna watch *yawn* teletubbies."
"Teletubbies is over now darling. It's time for little girls to go to bed." Jeanette kissed her daughter on her forehead.
"But…I'm…not…tired…" She slowly fell asleep in Alvin's arms.
Alvin and Jeanette smiled at Christine.
"What an angel." Jeanette whispered as Alvin gently lay his daughter down in her crib.
Christine moved a little bit, opened her eyes slightly, and quietly said, "I...love…you…daddy." and fell asleep.
Alvin kissed her cheek and stared at his two year old girl.
"Dad! Are you deaf?" Christine yelled in Alvin's ear.
Alvin's flashback stopped and he looked at his 16 year old.
"What's going on dear?" He asked her.
"I wanted to know if I could go to Jason's."
"Um, sure. Have fun."
Christine smiled and gave her father a tight hug. "Oh thank you daddy! I love you!" She let him go and left.
"What's up with you?" Jeanette asked, sitting on the arm of his chair.
"I'm just remembering the good old days." He smiled.
"Good old days? Like when?"
"When Christine was 2 and was a sweet little angel."
"They sure grow up so fast, don't they dear?"
"Yes. They do."
"It seems like only yesterday we were 20 years old and living it up."
"I know. But now we're 30 and sitting on the sofa doing crossword puzzles."
Jeanette laughed. "The years go by fast, don't they?"
"Well, you know what they say…'Time flies when you're having fun'."
Did you like it? I know. It was totally random haha!
