Harry Potter goes to Azkaban
CHAPTER 1 – Harry gets a Letter
Lying in his bed in Privet Drive, Harry Potter thinks he must be the only young boy in the world who wants to go back to school. It is the summer holidays, after all and all Harry can think of is all the fun he would be having back at school. You see, Harry isn't a normal boy and he doesn't attend a normal school. He is a wizard and attends the Hogwart's school of wizardry where he flies a broomstick in a game called quidditch, makes potions and gets to hang around with his two best friends – Hermione and Ron. They were probably off doing some really fun things at the moment, he thought, while he was stuck locked in his bedroom by his cruel auntie and uncle. You see, magic seems to scare some muggles(the wizarding term for non-magic people) and Harry's Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon seemed to scare more than anybody else. When he had come home from school for the holidays Uncle Vernon had confiscated all of his magical stuff and locked it away in the under stairs cupboard, this included all of his spell books and his wand. The only thing Harry had been allowed to keep out was his pet snow- white owl, Hedwig who was currently off hunting for the night. Although this annoyed Harry, it was far better than how he was treated by his auntie and uncle when he was little for they used to lock Harry up in the under stairs cupboard as well.
Harry had almost fallen asleep when he heard a knocking at the window. "Sssh, Hedwig, You'll wake everybody up" Harry whispered as he went to open the window but Hedwig wasn't there, instead there was a large tawny owl sitting there with a letter in it's beak. Harry took the letter from the owl and with a "hoot" it flew off into the sky. Listening to make sure no one else in the house had heard the owl, Harry slowly opened the envelope to make as little noise as possible. Taking out the letter Harry saw it was from his Uncle, Sirius Black who was currently on the run from the wizarding police, wanted for the murder of Harry's own parents. Harry, however, knew this wasn't true as only a few short terms ago, Sirius had come to Hogwarts and explained everything that had happened to Harry. Harry then helped Sirius to escape from the Death-Eaters, the most awful creatures in the whole wizarding world that can suck the life out of a person.
Harry read the letter then re-read it just to make sure he had seen it right.
"…I am currently living somewhere in muggle England away from the death- eaters. I hope that this message is not intercepted by anyone but I had to write to you. I have heard that Lord Voldemort has been able to once again take human form and is currently seeking revenge on all those who have betrayed him. Waste no time in going back to Hogwart's Harry for my mind can only rest while you are there and under the watchful eye of Albus Dumbledore. Remember Harry, Constant Vigilance. I have written to Albus seperatley and informed him of everthing I know, I have also revoked permission for you to visit Hogsmeade as I feel that it is too dangerous for you to visit at this time, I trust that you will obey my wishes

So, Harry thought, Voldemort is back but… Voldemort can't be back as my scar hasn't been hurting.
