As I sat by the fire I knew, somehow, there was something special about me. Something that set me apart from my peers. I had to find that something out.
"Cindy." I heard someone call my name. Although, that is not my real name. Really, my name is Cinderella, and I find my name far too embarrassing.
"Cinderella, wake up." My shoulder was softly nudged. I blinked my eyes slowly. When they were focused I saw the most peculiar thing. Two boys were standing around me, looking fascinated. One of the boys had beautiful sea blue eyes. Although, they were nothing compared to my eyes. They were gold, with hints of sky blue, earthy green, and a fiery red. All, of course, surrounded by some might say the most beautiful eyelashes ever to have graced this earth (not to be bragging). The other boy, that seemed more my age, had deep brown eyes and black hair. It was a bit like my hair. This is hard to explain but, my hair is golden like my eyes with red highlights that dance in the sun. All of this is accompanied by the darkest black at the tips of my hair. And you may that it would have taken a lot of dying, but it is all natural.
"Hello? Who are you?" I asked feeling weak. The two boys seemed to fall under some sort of spell and didn't say a word. "Excuse me, where am I?"
The blue eyed boy spoke first. "Y-you are at camp half-blood. I assumed you knew where you were considering you just appeared here in the dead of night." Oh no, not again. You see, I have a strange problem. I can teleport. But, sometimes a cant control it. It is rather tragic.
"Darn. I seem to have teleported again. I'm so very sorry."
"You can teleport?" asked the dark haired boy "Are you a daughter of Hades?"
"Hades? Who is that? Oh, it sounds so familiar, like trying to remember a dream." I said to myself.
I think that this is her. The one everyone has been waiting for.
I heard this in my head, knowing that it had come from the one with blue eyes. Had I forgot to mention? I can read the minds of others. I suppose I should also say I can turn invisible, take over anyone's body, walk on water, sing like an angel, solve collage level equations, fabricate any item from nothing, control fire and most elements, stop time,be invincible, fly, make someone ugly, predict the future, see the past, create doppelgangers of myself, kill an enemy without touching them, and oh yeah, I sparkle. As fantastic as it sounds I had a hard past to couture act it.
"Cindy, do you think there is anything different about you?" he asked.
"Yes, completely." I answered. Something was going to happen I could feel it.
"You are a half-blood, perhaps even a god you are so powerful. I need to escort you to mount Olympus." He said seriously.
"I will do it." I replied.
"NO YOU WONT!" A homely (compared to me anyway) came out of the shadows holding a large stake. She plunged it through my shimmering skin.
My eyes widened. It penetrated my invincibility. It was over. My elegant body was engulfed in silver flames. My body was not burned, but only turned into a silhouette of what I used to be.
"Where did she go?" the boys yelled at the ugly girl. The girl breathed heavily.
"It's fine, shes gone now."
I watched them, not even noticing me. I was invisible to them. I tried to turn visible as I usually do, but it was no use.
I had become a ghost, forced to roam the earth without anyone beholding my awesomeness.
