A/N: This is just a drabble, while i work on the next chapter of my Teen Wolf AU, this is the only chapter, If I make it into a story in the future, it will have a different Title and an actual plot bunny bugging me to update it.

When Stile's said he didn't want the bite he wasn't lying entirely. Because as awesome as it would be to play first line with Scott, to get Lydia Martin to pay attention to him, maybe find a girl or guy who was into him like Allison was so into Scott...he knows that there's a downside.

The Instinct.

The you, that isn't you.

The you, that you don't show everyone else, the you that is constantly bottled up under a thousand locks and mismatch keys.

Stiles is pretty sure that he would turn into a monster. Because that's what he hides from everyone. The other him that doesn't want to help all the time, that wants to yell and destroy things when people don't pay attention to what he's saying.

He knows without thinking that his anchor would be his dad. Because even though he is inwardly snarling at everyone else and what they tell him to do, he has never felt the need to question his father. Sure he wanted to protest being grounded, heck he protested about everything and anything really, but when he saw his dad put his metaphorical boot down, Stiles could feel his tail go between his knees.

Unlike with Scott, when he was being stupid, wouldn't listen to Stile's advice, wouldn't come to his aid, even though Stile's never failed to run after him when he needed to the help. His hackles are on constant alert when he is around his best friend.

He'd probably get into a dog fight the second he could get phasing under control. And he wouldn't stop till he tasted blood. A lot of blood.

He'd also bitch slap Erica, probably get into a fight with Boyd if he came to her defence. And Boyd would, because Boyd and Erica are awesome friends, and Stile's thinks something more.

He also thinks thats the only time he would hit Erica, because by putting his fists up, Erica would know that he was ready to pounce and tear into her for all the times she had tried to kill him.

So even though Peter Hale says he's lying, he sticks with his first reply, because no matter how benificial it would be to be part of the Werewolf pack and actually be a Werewolf and be able to defend himself, he doesn't want to show them that Stile's is actually a monster behind his friendly smile.
