Dreams and Reality Part 1

Kurama closed his eyes as the cool forest air washed over him. He had nothing to do nothing to
attend yet he couldn't knock the suspicion he was missing something important. {lets see} he
thought { I'm done my homework, finished classes, politely avoided my admires} Kurama
shakes his head at this part. { I've shopped, I helped Kassan, Helped Yuusuke with his Math....
hum I seem to have everything done but what is this feeling.} Shaking his head Kurama tried to
relax. Just as he was clamming down a familiar scream shot out of a part of the near by forest.
Taking to his feet Kurama Ran to the scene finding something that shocked him to the core.
Laying there on the ground dead were his teammates and friends. Botan looked as though she
had been knocked hard into a tree her face smashed. Yuusuke, Kuwabara, Keiko, Genki Koenma
all dead { I guess he wasn't immortal} thought Kurama. Yukina was here as well and other than
a look of shock was unmarked. Within in seconds He saw the cause of her death on the ground
not 2 feet from him as the body of Hiei {losing him must have..} Kurama thoughts tailed off as
the impart of all of this hit him he pulled the lifeless body of the small fire demon into his arms
and while crying freely screamed into the cool night sky.
Kurama woke with a start from the dream that had haunted his mind every night for the past
week. {but what does it mean} thought Kurama . Outside in a tree by Kurama bedroom window
Hiei frowned he had watched as Kurama tree were haunted but had not yet said anything about
them as Kurama himself had not mentioned them to his teammates.
The next morning Kurama got ready for school and headed out the door halfway there he was
stoped by Botan who had a mission for them. So after school (the mission was not too urgent)
the Reikai-Tantei meet in the wood and Botan took them to the place the job was simple get the
artifact back from the demon.. The demon wasn't very strong and they took it out almost
effortlessly but suddenly form the shadows sprung another demon and as Kurama watched the
thing sent Botan flying into a tree then went toward Yuusuke. "No!" screamed Kurama as he
saw Yuusuke hit {No, no this is just like my dream I can't let this happen} Kurama rushed
forward not even thinking of the whip in his left hand and in a show of shocking strength
grabbed the demon and broke it's neck but the minute he did this he was surrounded but a purple
fog then everything went black.
"Damn" swore Hiei as he caught Kurama's falling form. Botan stirred form the mild smack she
had received and saw Kurama.
"What happened" she said with a worried look. Yuusuke's wound was nothing dangerous and he
wondered why Kurama went off the handle like that.
"Why do you think he did that?" Questioned Kuwabara as he looked at the other. No one knew
but Hiei had a suspicion that it had to do with what every Kurama had been having nightmares
about. Hiei formed his lips and in the blink of an eye was at Genki's Temple he walked in and
brought Kurama to his sister for healing. The minute the rest of the group got there Hiei went up
into a tree and watched and hoped Kurama was ok.
