He didn't remember exactly how it happened this time. All he knew was that first it was her mask, then his cape and cowl, then it was their belts, and the next thing he knew he was lying in bed with her on top of him, his arms around her, them making out with each other, and her leg was trying to kick and wrap around him at the same time.
He had no problem making love with her and neither did she. After all Bruce did love Selina and Selina did love Bruce.
Bruce secretly wanted to make Selina the mother of his kids but he could never tell her. Selina was wild and free, and he could only hold her down for so long before she ran off for days at a time. But that didn't matter now, she was with him and that was all that mattered.
"I love you Bruce." Selina purred.
"I love you two Selina." Bruce said getting a little sad.
This was a part of their routine they'd be together for two or three hours, they'd tell each other they love each other, and then she'd take off.
After they got dressed again Selina walked over to the window to leave.
"Lina."Bruce called to Selina. Lina was a name Bruce gave to Selina when they were real young and always played together. "Wait."
Selina turned around to look at him curios and kind of scared. They had been going by routine for 6 years and Selina had gotten to use to it. It got to the point where even the littlest of changes scared her.
"Please don't go Lina."He begged. "I love you way too much. I just don't think I could take if you took off again." Bruce started to cry
Selina felt heartbroken. She hadn't seen him cry since they were young.
"Lina, baby I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Bruce got down on one knee and held onto her hand. "Selina, my shining jewel, will you marry me?"
"Of cures I will Bruce. I thought you'd never ask." Selina smiled at him.
Bruce stood up and kissed her."I love you Selina."
"And I love you Bruce."
Moral of this story= don't be afraid to take a chance. Don't wait forever because nothing will happen on its own. You have to go out there and make your own luck, find your life and live it. ALWAYS take chances. If you fail just try again and don't look at it as failing look at it as just finding a way not to do it. just like when Thomas Edison tried and failed nearly 2000 times to develop the carbonized cotton thread filament for the incandescent light bulb. When asked about it, he said, 'I didn't fail. I found out 2000 ways how not to make a light bulb.' But he only needed to find one way to make it work."
