Hello Fanfiction Peeps! This is my first ever dance academy fanfic in honor of the newly aired season 3. I was saddened by the lack of Tara and Christian in the first episode so I decided to cheer myself up. Here is Numero Uno of my series of one shots! Enjoy!
Strangest Girl I've Ever Met
(Christian's POV)
I walked the dock not sure where I was headed.
I just needed some air.
This whole dance thing got overwhelming sometimes.
I was happy for the free afternoon to just clear my head, maybe go catch up with some friends and do some dancing that actually felt natural.
It was cloudy but, still a good day to be outside.
"Almost got you," I heard but, I looked around to find no one.
I was walking underneath the tree in the courtyard and no one was in sight.
"Almost there," I heard again and looked up to find Tara in the tree.
"Training bra what are you doing?!" I exclaimed in shock but, I guess I startled her because she lost her balance.
"Woah, woah-"
I reached out and caught her in my arms.
I looked down at her closed eyes and red tinged face.
"What on earth were you doing?" I asked, feeling anxious.
Her hands opened slowly revealing a baby kitten with huge eyes.
"It was stuck in the tree," she explained embarrassed.
I couldn't help but, smirk lightly.
She was by far the strangest girl I'd ever met.
"Well maybe you should think it through before you climb in the tree," I said pulling her to her feet.
"I thought it through. It's just...if I was stuck in a tree I would hope someone would stop and get me down," she replied looking down at the yawning kitten.
I looked at her a while longer before continuing my walking.
"Well come on then," I said advancing but, I couldn't hear her feet.
I turned around to see her staring at me confused.
"Well you can't very well keep it so lets go find a shelter or something. I think there's one a couple blocks from here," I advised
It took her a moment but, then she smiled and walked towards me.
She slipped off her sweater and wrapped it around the small kitten who was nuzzled sleepily in her arms.
I took one more look at her with a smile, shaking my head.
By far...the strangest girl I have ever met.
