"Lloyd?"
"Dad! But...the Preeminent...your dragon...you..."
"I told you I would always be with you, Lloyd."
"I can't believe you're here... I can't believe you survived... Everything is going to be alright now..."
"Yes... It is..."
That had just been moments ago, when Lloyd and his father, Garmadon, were reunited. As of right now, they were sitting together in the once former tea shop, peace having returned to Ninjago.
"Dad...I've missed you so, so terribly..." Lloyd murmured.
"I know... So have I... Come over here... I've missed you too..."
The energy elemental gazed down at the chains on Garmadon's arms, his face darkening. "We can't get those off, can we?"
"I'm not too sure. But it doesn't matter at this moment. We're together at last, and it's all I could ever want. I love you too much; you're my world; you have been; you forever shall be."
At once, Lloyd began to cry. Garmadon held his son close, running a hand through his hair.
"Lloyd...It's alright... It's over now... I'm here...I'm right here..."
"I know, Dad..." the Green Ninja sobbed. His body started to shake a little, his breath heaving with relief, still unable to believe it. "It's been so long..."
His father pulled him even closer, smiling sympathetically.
