She sits in her room thinking of everything that had happened that day. A small smile comes on her face as thought of him, remembering just how much she really loves him. As she's thinking she flips though her CDs trying to decide what to listen to. She comes across a mixed CD and puts it in, her curiosity taking over.
She pushes play and lays on her bed starring up at the ceiling as the music starts. At first it shocks her. She had forgotten she even had the CD. The songs where all sad songs she would listen to when she was sad. She couldn't even remember the last time she had been sad until now.
She sighs softly and glances at the clock, 9:45p.m. Carefully she grabs her backpack and pulls out all the notes she had ever gotten from him. She reads though them and starts to cry. She wipes her eyes and grabs her blade off her bedside table.
Carefully and skillfully she carves his name into her wrist. Careful enough not to go deep enough that she'd bleed to death, just deep enough to scar. She glances back over to the clock again, almost 10:30p.m. She sighs and sets the blade back on the table and turns her music down before she flips over on her side and covers up, falling to sleep rather quickly.
The Next Night
She slams her bedroom door shut to block out her mothers yelling. She drops her bag onto the floor and flops onto her bed grabbing her journal as she does so. Quickly she scribes a note before she turns on her radio, making sure to turn it up just loud enough to make her mom madder. She thinks back to that day as tears run down her face. She had seen him today. He was with her… The new girl. She had seen them kiss. She grabs her knife and stabs it into her wrist just below his name. She pulls it out and whimpers in pain. She then stabs it into her other wrist and pulls it out, dropping it to the floor. She had finally had enough.
She grabs the phone and quickly dials his number, hoping that he answers and not his dad. He answers. "Hello?" he asks.
"I love you…" she whispers before hanging up. He tries to call back but there is no answer. She sits on her bed feeling slightly dizzy suddenly. She looks at her wall to a picture she had of him and her hanging on the wall. She concentrates on the picture as everything goes black. She feels herself hit the bed, but can't open her eyes. After several long minutes everything goes silent.
Her mother pounds on the door trying to get her to open up. Finally she just opens the door and gasps at the scene. She had come to tell her that he was there but it was too late.
He comes into the room and sees the note. Gingerly she grabs it and begins to read aloud, "If I can't have him and his love then I don't want to live." He looks at her and starts to cry. He kisses her softly before he leaves, not wanting to look at her cold, lifeless body any longer.
The Next Morning
His father knocks on his door without getting a response. He opens the door and is in shock. He is dead with a single bullet would to the head; the gun still in his hand. On the bed next to him lay a single piece of paper. His father read it aloud to himself," I loved her most of all. Never did I stop. Now I only wish she could have known. If I can't have her and her love I don't want to live anymore."
Several Weeks Later
They where buried together at the same plot. Her mother and His father stood together looking at the headstone in wonderment. The headstone reads: Here lies Sam and his love Stacy. Forever where they in love and forever will they be. Love is painful yet this love was true. Stacy – June 16, 1992 – August 18, 2008. Sam – October 15, 1990 – August 18, 2008. Forever together in mind, body, and soul.
