A/N: I don't own Kingdom Hearts. Wahh.
The wind ruffled pale pink petals off a flower and they drifted up into the air, soon getting carried by a stronfer guest of wind, kicked by the expelling air of a window fan, and then floating softly down in front of a young child. The petal had made the way from a small plain to the foot of a young child in a small town.
"Oh? Pretty." Giggled the child, who's hair matched the petal pink-haired child skipped happily down the road, the petal bringing a ray of sunshine in the dismal day so far.
Half way home the young child was stopped by their name being called out. It wasn't in a good way. "Hey! Lumaria! What's that you got, ya dork!" Yelled one boy, taller and older by a few years then Lumaria, with black hair slicked back. The bully's name was Pete and he was a monster to the poor pinkette.
Out goes the bottom lip, then comes the tears collecting in eyes so bright and blue they remind anyone of a bright summer sky. But that didn't matter. This bully only wanted to see a child cry and Lumaria was his latest target. "I…I have a flower petal. It found me." Lumaria mumbled softly, smiling.
"Don't ya mean you found it dork?" The boy chided, grinning roughly.
"No! It found me! I was just walking down the road and it landed in front of me." Lumaria retorted.
"That's not possible buttstink! You're so stupid!" Pete yelled, stepping closer to push the child down.
"Owww!" The pinkette cried, landing roughly on the street. "T-that w-wasn't n-nice!"
"I don't have to be nice you loser!" Pete smiled, picking up a rock and standing over his victim. "But I can be mean." His smile was twisted, dark. Lumaria began to cry.
"Now I'll show you how mean I can be!" Pete yelled, grinning, bringing his arm up with the rock to hit the younger child. "Be prepared to really cr-" He continues to yell but his wrist is snapped backwards and the rock falls to the ground. "Oww! What the hell?!" He yelled, looking around til his eyes settled on a blue-haired stranger.
"I hate bullies." He said hands wrapped around a branch like a sword. Left foot behind him for balance and eyes calm he was ready for a fight. Taller then Pete but lacking the other boy's grith he oozed an air of calm confidence. "I'd say 'pick on someone your own size' but I'm not as fat as you. So I'll just say 'fight me'." The boy grinned.
Pete growled, stepping forward after picking up the rock. "I'll beat you so hard!" He barked, charging the stranger. "Ahh!" He yelled, his wrist throbbing as the stick crashed into it. The rock fell again and suddenly the sharp end was pressed against his throat.
"Get away from us. And don't bully anyone again. I'll find you." The stranger growled and flicked Pete in the chest, sending him running.
"Are you okay? My name's Isa." Lumaria looked up, a bright smile plastered on their facel Nobody ever fought Pete and got away with it.
"Thanks so much! I'm okay. My name's Lumaria. Nice to meet you!" Came the rushed reply.
"Here, let me help you up." Isa said, grabbing Lumaria's hand and pulling them up. Isa was a few inches taller and looked down into the blue eyes of the person he had saved. "Call me anytime to help. I hate bullies." He said, shrugging.
"R-really? A-anytime?"
"Yeah, of course. That's what I said." Isa chuckled and then blushed as he felt the thin arms of Lumaria wrap aroune him. He smelled flowers. "Anytime." He smiled.
