Barnes Family Attic - October 28, 2019.

18-year-old, Tristan Barnes was up in his attic, cleaning and organizing it, and looking for Halloween decorations. He shoved aside boxes and old furniture, grabbed box after box and stacked them against the far wall.

He pushed aside an old 1940's radio set, that was so dusty it made him sneeze. He turned back to the other stuff, in front of him was a dusty box labeled: 1945 – 2011 WS Gear, box 1.

His curiosity was aroused, and he opened the box, then he reached in and pulled out an Uzi. It looked old, a few sections were slightly rusted, but it looked like it had been well cared for in another life. He set it aside.

He reached into the box again, this time pulling out a black mask, it wasn't enough to keep his attention for long, and he set it aside also.

Next, he pulled out a black, bullet-proof, military-grade combat shirt. It seemed to be made of heavy duty material. He ran his hand along it and could feel where bullets had previously lodged themselves into the material.

The shirt was followed by a pair of matching black, combat pants, and military-grade, steel-toed combat boots.

When he reached in again, he was slightly, okay really, disappointed when his fingers brushed the bottom of the box. He sighed, and carefully began putting the items back in the box.

However, his disappointment vanished when he spotted another box similarly labeled not too far away.

Almost eagerly, he opened the second box. Inside were several various weapons.

He pulled out another Uzi; this time he noticed it was more well-kept than the previous had been, and looked like it had been used as late as 2011 or so. Then came a slightly larger gun which he couldn't identify. Which was followed by two identical SIG Sauer Pistols. He set them aside.

When he reached into the box again, his fingers found the disassembled pieces to another gun. He pulled them out and studied them, it looked complicated to put back together, but he was determined. Almost a half an hour later, he had it assembled.

Shocked, he scrambled back.

It was a 7.62 mm caliber Sniper rifle.

He was so surprised at finding this in his attic, especially since his mom disliked violence, and his dad preferred to leave violence in his past.

Suddenly, the room seemed to spin, Feeling, as if he was going to throw up, he squeezed his eyes shut.

When he opened his eyes, he was no longer in his attic.
