"Sazh…what are you doing?" Vanille asked as she watched Sazh's frantic and jerky movements. At first he didn't answer her, only patting himself down further until he let out a relieved sigh. "Sazh?"

"Sorry Vanille, just looking for Chocobo's little guide. I need to know a lot about him once Dajh wakes up. It's a lot of work, taking care of a chocobo." Sazh pulled out a rather thick booklet, thumbing through the pages as he searched for where he left off.

"What's it say?" Vanille asked, trying to peek over Sazh's shoulder.

"Well, this one page I was looking at was talking about the dangers of chocobo raising."

"Really?"

"Yup. Turns out, under really bad circumstances, a chocobo can release an ultimate attack to defend itself.

"U-Ultimate attack?" Vanille questioned, suddenly nervous.

"Yeah. Really hard to push them that far though. You really have to want to piss it off. Anyway, it's something called the choco-comet." Sazh paused and looked around, "Have you seen Fang?" he asked, unaware of the look of horrified realization on Vanille's face, "She said she needed Chocobo for a bit and just took off with him."

Suddenly there was a loud and fiery explosion, followed by a disheveled Fang as she ran towards them. "That bird's flipping nuts!" She shouted, patting out the small flames left on her outfit. As if on cue, said bird came hurtling at her, a crazed look in its eyes. "I wasn't really gonna eat ya! I just don't want you poking at my food anymore!"

But the chocobo just gave an angry k'weh as ominous clouds began to swirl above it.

"Crazy little chicken nugget!"

And as Lightning, Hope, and Snow returned from a short scouting trip, they met the smoldering remains of what had once been their campsite. "What did Fang do now?" Lightning muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose and closing her eyes to keep her anger in.

Her question was met with another explosion in the distance.

Anyone else remember that attack? I remember a few chocobos being able to do it…like in FF10. Or was it 7? Anyway, I always hated it…it was so powerful and you never expected it until Rikku accidentally smacked one of them. Darn it.

Anyway, wrote this number during school. Needed it after my sadder stories...I hope you liked it!
